What is the longest someone can live with metastatic cancer to the bone? My oncologist hasn’t known anyone who has past 4 years. He also does not recommend surgery to remove the tumor on the pelvic bone which has stabilized since chemo & radiation but is expected to become active and spread as is the nature of bone Mets. Is there nothing that can help someone other than chemo and radiation for new spread sites, which, treatments themselves, weaken bone?

Are you supposed to take VK2 with Calcium to help direct calcium to the bone instead of the arteries? How many mg?

I have just seen diagnosed with Stage 4 BC that has Metastasized to the bone. Still waiting on other test results to see if it’s elsewhere in my body. Is it ok to use a heating pad for comfort or am I going to make things worse with inflammation? Started taking LETROZOLE and will be getting others when insurance company approves it. I’m getting an injection on the July 17 th, would that be the Bisphosphonate? Thank You

Hi, the first doctor indicated that radiation is used to stop breast cancer in the bone from growing, but the second doctor mentioned only given for pain, did I understand this correctly?

I'm 54. I haven't "walked" since I was about 29. I had bone cancer as a kid. This is interesting. But doesn't really help me. Thanks anyway
