One cheap card in your case, can be sarkhan, fireblood in stead of dack faden. This is because of a two mana ramp in any combo of colors to easily cast niv. And he starts the combo by discard, draw. Tell me if you'd switch because I have one and I'm building niv. If you could get back to me that would be great. Thx
Sarkhan, fireblood because it ramps OR card draws and lotus petal because (also) color-fixing ramp. That's it
If you run Turnabout, why not reiterate? Those two together create an infinite mana combo that you could use as an alternate wincon!

You may as well run Temporal Trespass since 1/3 of your deck is counters/cantrips you're not getting back

I would replace Temple of the False Gods with a Seat of the Synod (you can find seat with Tezzeret, and Temple is a horrible card especially with your commander not having any colorless in the cost)

50% tuned for competitive
but flash doesn't count as an instant so Niv wouldn't trigger. you would have to flash ophidian eye and play some sort of counter to get niv to trigger.
Niv's draw is a trigger. Player playes a instant/Scorcery, Niv triggers, you respond to the trigger with ophidian eye, trigger resolves and ou draw a card, trigger resolves and you deal 1 damage, ogidian eye triggers and you draw, i triggers, and off you go.
How do you kill all opponents? You can only deal damage equal to the number of cards in your deck, which is less than your opponents combined Lifepoints
If you go for the deck-draw combo, you accompany it with Time spiral to reshuffle your hand and grave and start over Or Laboratory maniac for the deck-out win.

Play a bunch of instants and sorceries while niv is on the board OR put curiosity, or ophidian eye or tandem lookout with niv and go infinite (infinite draw=infinite dmg because of his ability)

You should use cards that give Niv Mizzet deathtouch so that whenever you ping a creature it instantly dies
Let us go a step further and give him infect with grafted exoscelleton

I havent done my deck techs.
Archaomancer is bad. You can do better with Flood of Recollection or Mission Briefing.
Snapcaster Pirate may be a good addition since it lets you use your opponents cantrips to start off a combo.
Mind over Matter is something that gives you another combo with Temple Bell.
No infinite mana options as a secondary kill?
Reset/Reiterate/Bolt combo?
Do you have a way to stop yourself from decking?
Fellwar Stone would be handy as a rock since it will almost always give you blue and red.
Cut the wizard caring lands, you want more dual lands. Pain lands are annoying, but who cares if you win or lose by turn 5.
With the accepting of the snap-pirate I think all are good ideas. I would keep arechomancer tho and still play flood.
And what would be the infinite mana generation? Whale and dead eye?
Dead-Eye and peregrine drake; palinchron and high tide, rings of brighthearth and basalt monolith, reset/turnabout and reiterate
Any of them will make infinte mana. Add any buyback spell and Niv will kill everyone. Of course, most of these use spells so... he'll do that anyway.
Also, why no Teferi's Puzzle Box or Mindmoil?
puzzle box is good, but moil doesn't do much for the deck.
Looks expensive to copy the deck... how about a little smaller budge version?
yea i've been building this deck for years and slowly been adding better cards into it. building a budget version is a great idea, i may do that.

Flash means the spell can be cast at instant speed.

So say your opponents paths your Niv Mizzet, so that would trigger Niv Mizzet and then you flash out Ophidian eye, when you draw the card from Niv Mizzet the combo goes off and you win the game :)

Definitelly is better to play less colorless rocks, less non basic (especially colorless) and play Blood Moon, Magus and Ruination that kill almost every control which u meet and daaamn man all 7 fecthes is basic thing :)

i'm better off playing Mindmoil in that case. neither of which do much for this decks play-style, but definitely a good card in a different build.

Dude! The Niv-Mizzet pun isnt new! Thats why Wizards named him how they did! Because he is meant to run in an Izzet deck!

doesn't do much for the deck. id rather play Electrolyze for the extra draw effect to trigger niv, and counterflux for the counterspell.
Too many staples, not enough 1cc spells imho (talking about making the deck fun, I mean)
