Would only wish if she could tone down the make-up though, to let her real self shine through. Well, each one their own, I suppose.
PS: She comes from a nation that borders mine, and folks in both countries are indoctrinated to purely hate. I, for one, do not care. People are people, and this lady is what this world needs more of. Hope she stays true & honest, and power & fame doesn't corrupt her. Blessings & light to her from me 😊
Twizted Transistor tone down the make up to show her real self??! That’s quite judgmental...I know it’s not your objective....but the make up might be her real self!! makeup it’s not necessarily covering up what you are, it might be just the opposite and be used to show your self, what you like, how you are! Just like her bright colors!
Hi @@JMBBrasil ...I understand what you're saying, and quite agree with you. But, as you said, I wasn't making that statement to be judgmental at all, mate. I said it as a personal preference only. She needn't necessarily attest to that, and she seems strong enough not to bother either ;) In my view, she would be stunning either way. I like my girl to be sans makeup too, and I just like her that way. Au naturel, if you may. But I don't force her in anyway whatsoever, or ask her to refrain from it when she feels like it when we're going out. Her body, her choice. Sure, makeup does wonders for people's self esteem, and they feel pretty and beautiful, confident in their own skin, powerful and strong (I use the word people here, as makeup is not gender specific, it is neutral). Nothing wrong with makeup at all. Like I said, each one their own, and it was just a personal preference I stated. I believe everyone is, and should be free to make their own body choices.
Wish you a happy day 😊 Cheers!
@@himenyx153 Whatever do you mean? Care to elaborate what point I happened to miss? That's a vague statement you made.
Powerful. Speaking from experience and helping others from falling into the same trap. What an inspiration. Plus she’s so humble!
She speaks her thing really well. Like it
I don't much about Jameela. The TH-cam algorithm brought me here. I gotta say I have a new-found respect for her. I need to check out more of her work. Jameela, thank you for doing what you're doing for a greater cause.
She's such a hero. I love that she would not allow NBC to photoshop her in their ads for the Good Place.
Good thing is that she doesn't need to be photoshopped. None of us do.
What would they have wanted to photoshop? Is she too tall? Too fat? Too skinny? Too perfect?
Tito Tim Travels If you look closely at one of the pics where she has her arm on her waist, you can see a bit of a bulge near the armpit area. I believe that was one of the things she didn't want them to photoshop

Stretch marks mostly. The symbol for people with Ehlers Danlos (a thing both Jameela and I have) is a zebra for multiple reasons.
She is the kind of person we need right now.
And don't deserve.

Wow! I had no idea she was so awesome. I love “The Good Place” and now love her even more. Thanks for your hard work and making a difference.
I didn’t know about Jameela Jamil outside of her role on the Good Place, but I know more now and really admire her activism especially around body image issues and the like. I’m also somewhat slender but I’m short and not the person of focus in these conversations (which makes sense); however, I really do find her comments, post, etc. uplifting. Thanks.
Thank you for featuring such lovely guests on your show. Jameela is a smart, beautiful, compassionate person we should all aspire to be like. ❤️
Jameela, such an inspiration for us all! I see her and those who are like her and I am renewed in my hopes for humanity. Thank you Jameela!

I’m so glad that I watched this because Jameela Jamil is awesome and her saying “progress not perfection” is absolutely wonderful! Her outlook on body image and stance on these gimmick companies that claim to offer weight loss is absolutely impressive! What a down to earth and genuine person Jameela seems to be!

*"I can think about my bank account and orgasms... And like, worldpeace."* She just had to bend to more popular public opinion 😂
I love you in The Good Place, I love you more now Jameelaaaaaaa
World peace starts with your own contentment first.
No bending there. She joked but her life says otherwise. Doing more for peace in our society than 90% of the population.
