yea thats what i ment. Kind like chirping or jumping upon take off but mainily on hard decel with the bigger tires it does it. Taking out the shims will help but didnt fully mkae it go away.
I forget how to do it, just google it. you sometimes have to take the belt cover off though. Other timesu just use the plug if u have it below the seat. ITs a grey plug that isnt connected to anything else with a loop off wire on the end of it. Alomst like a jumper.
What primary clutch puller did you use? I have a 2012 BF 650 and need to change my belt. Can't seem to find a clear answer anywhere....just might or should fit kind of thing. THANKS.

hey man is there any way how to tell if a clutch is going out? my 360 has same cvt clutch and it wants to pull its self in gear an putting it in gear it grinds an jumps into gear an pulls its self an if I break it stalls ? any suggestion's??
hey sorry, i havent really wheeled the brute very much.. the new just hasnt worn off yet, but eventually i will mud it. For now i just ride it hard on the dry stuff lol
Hi just wondering if you could help me I have a kawasaki prairie 360, whenever it reaches 35mph the belt light flashes and I have to reset it, it will then run to 35mph again but when it reaches it the same thing happens, have had it to the dealer and they don't know what's wrong, have reset the belt light hundreds of times and the same thing happens, have you heard of this or know what's causing it,help would be appreciated thanks

I just bought my new 17' brute. I am in the break in point. at about 9 hours in, the brute started chirping at slow takeoffs going up hill. Is that something I have to live with. no real fix? kinda stupid if I have to live with it. I am thinking there is no real fix, because it started so soon. its just on slow take off before the belt real engages. But I do love my brute. Do you know of a after market place that sells mud guards. I want to shim the wheels out and inch on each side to widen the stance and put on radial tires.
actually its all good. no worries, just the way it is when your riding on asphalt roads in 95 degree temps. Can't get it to do it anymore. great machine. it had to be the combo of asphalt roads and 95 degree heat and it only did it going up hill when you first took off in creep mode, if you just took off it wouldn't do it.

D I be able to change the belt by removing only the secondary clutch on my 06 brute force 750?

+dutchesskitty1 sorry I do not know but It sounds like a electrical issue. I would check the ebc and actuator, they have been known to go bad.
When you say chirpin the belt I'm guessing you mean it jumping that's what mine does in high if you take off normal how do I fix that brother

Can you change the belt without removing the primary and secondary? Like putting on a bicycle chain rotating the clutch?
Yes you can..I have a 2013 brute..it is easier to remove the primary though..you can buy the tool from your local kawi dealer

I left it on. I think in the off postionthe ebs will not work.
