Once u cook a seal. And the clutch gets soaked. With oil. U cant save it. A new seal and a new clutch. Is the only way. Kinda like a drum brake on a car when the shoes get contaminated with a leaky wheel cylinder. Or a leaky axle seal. Good vid. Thank you.

In your opinion would you say the cause of this issue was because the owner was dawggin' it in some deep mud and what not?

My 2020 Brute Force 300 has done this exact thing. I took it apart and it all looks the exact same, oil leaking, shaft in too far etc. Do you know what ended up being the root of the issue?

I didn't find out what the issue was. But if this is a common problem it should definitely be a recall.

Case is stuck on mine as well. The right side will not move. No luck with penetrating oil or tapping it with a deadblow. Same year

Did kawasaki fix this problem?????? Looks like an assembled or design issue.

How did you get the belt back on ? I’m struggling to get the secondary clutch to open so I can stretch it get it on.

It wasn't easy with the belt on the back pulley I held the belt as far forward as I could and started the front pulley on a little with the bolt then rotated it to work the belt up onto the center sleeve of the pulley and kept tightening the bolt and rotating the pulley.

Never understood why peeps bury their quads. In swamp funk.

What is the mileage on this atv? It's unusual for shaft to go in on those kymco made atvs, they are pretty reliable maybe it was abused.

It was pretty low mileage only about 400. The neighbor said they buried the atv in the mud pretty deep and was trying to get out then after they pulled it out it seemed to be slipping. The only thing I can think of was the over torquing of the clutch trying to get it out walked the shaft in or because of heat. Strange but I've seen some other posts on forums about the driven clutch oil seal going bad I wonder if it's the same problem happening.

@@TheGoldenHillFarm There is metal plate with screw that uses as bearing retainer from inside and circlip on shaft just behind the seal that was leaking. Must be one of those two things that failed so shaft will probably go in again. It needs to be inspected further and warranty should cover it.
