i gave away all my 160+ plants 3 years ago due to work load. and now im starting fresh and focusing mainly on Anthurium! first plant to get are the Regale!
Kevin you have so much love to give the plants-it’s amazing ! I think this is why they grow like this for you. If I were a plant I would want you to care for me. You’re a plant God.
Kevin your content is the greatest. The hubs saw the size of your leaves as I was coveting them and said dudes house is like land of the lost- a slesak is gonna pop out 😂😂
I don’t have any anthuriums (and am too nervous to ever try 😂) but seeing yours go from little leaves to bigger than your torso is truly amazing! It almost makes me want one to try hahah
my ever first anthurium was the ones commonly sold in big box stores, and by far is my favorite anthurium the care for them is not even hard, im just scared for when it starts maturing and produce HUGE beautiful leaves, i think it need a pole though i would recommend the crystalinum anthurium since their wayy easier than the anthurium andraenum!
Thank u for the video on antheriums. I have a problem with them. They just don’t want to grow for me. But I learned to keep the leaves on my plants and not cut them off when they start yellowing. I’m happy to know what you told us! Thank you
Right!! I love plants there’re so fascinating. Some immobile nutrients include calcium and iron and that’s why I always include calmag in my nutrient solution because the plant can’t pull it from older growth 💚☺️
It looks like anthurium may be a bit of a challenge. That scares me because I just ordered some and you are so good at plant care. The plant’s Meow has a video two years ago showing how she keeps her queen looking fabulous.
So there is a veitchii x moodeanum and it's a pretty cool lill dude - I find Anthurium are so much more pleasant to grow than philodendron bc, after having started off plant collecting with climbing/ crawling philodendron, I have noticed how much work it is to stay on top of moss pole maintenance and when it comes to having to chop and extend it's just a hassle to get those roots untangled from the moss without damaging anything... and since Tree fern fiber isn't available in Germany yet (as far as I know), I'm just enjoying the simplicity of growing plants with more compact internodes 🤷♂️
Wow wow wow 😍 first time watching one of your videos (not sure how I’ve missed your channel until now!?😂) and I’m obsessed with anthuriums and yours are STUNNING! The growth is incredible 😍 that first one was gorgeous! Penduloflorum?! I can’t remember the name 😂 but ima be adding it to my wishlist! 🥹 now to binge the rest of your videos 🤭
Yay for your Patreon. I'm so glad to have you, as I introduce rare house plants to my Maine home,🥶❄️. I'm an outdoor gardener and am loving adding these amazing plants into my world. You are a fantastic resource! And I just love you 💚
You would have less " holes" RIPS, if you humidity was higher . Your collection is FANTASTIC. I have lots starting to size up ,but wow your are awesome
Hi! I enjoyed watching your video. I just started collecting plants and I want to add my collection with an anthurium. I like the one with visible veins, heart shape leaves and that will have huge leaves. Should I get the mag verde x red crystallinum or the clarinervium regale?
For the one with the most distorted leaves I'd try some new fertilizing routine. I see some talk around that silica supplementation helps with stick leaves and generally with strengthening the cells, maybe it would help an anthurium? Or some pH tweaking, certain nutrients are only available to a plant at certain pH. If there are some rotten roots in the pot they will be lowering the pH of the substrate (even if they are not spreading the rot to healthy tissue) and it can lead to deficiencies, could that be the answer? I would just honestly take it out of the pot, cut the chonk into as many pieces as possible and try different things on each of them (after they root and sprout of course). But I understand you wouldn't want to loose all the progress with sizing up so probably changing one thing at a time is the way to go.
Love your collection. I'm in a process of transferring my Anthuriums from aroid mix to pon. Still a bit confused about the sizes of self-watering pots. Can you please tell me what size is the pot your A. Esmeraldense lives in? It looks more than 6 inches. And I don't see the inner liner. I'm in the US, Colorado. Thank you so much in advance :)
Hey! I never have luck with anthuriums in an aroid mix. I have the same issues. I have my philodendron melanochrysum and glorious in an aroid mix. I don’t water them often. I just wait till they dry out
@@kevin. same here. I water my big pots probably every 3 weeks to a month. Lol. May I know again please the best media you use for anthuriums for condo living? Thank you.
I brought a matalicum home from the aroid show, and it lost a leaf and is one of 2 plants I brought home that did nothing ( the queen was the other) I unpotted both today and both had horrible root rot, so now both have to grow a whole new root system 😅
I REAL like the pot set up you have for the warocqueanum. You think that's a way to grow her faster?? It looks like it's wrapped in plastic tp keep from drying out? Is she too in lechuza pon??
I swoon over your Tessie, I mean anthurium furcatum. I got one recently and its still in bb form - hope it grows as well as yours! So I recently put my anthurium balaoanum on a moss pole and I was stocked it actually rooted into the pole, have you seen roots in your warcoqueanum's pole yet?
I ordered 2 Crystalinum seedlings 🌱 and I have 2 small Magnificum so maybe they can get together someday lol My first mag ended up being a Forgetti and they still insist it is a mag even though it has no sinus 😅
I love anthurium much! But I still struggling about how to make them happy and look goods. I’m using pon (just transferred all anthurium to pon) and somehow I see new growth but some leave start me yellowing as well >
@HakunaLaPlanta man, thats pretty savage! I just spray the heck out of my plants and then order beneficials. I can't bear to cut my plant babies. Even to propagate, its always so hard!
Beautiful plants. Just put the pot for the anthurium metallicum into a heavy terracotta or ceramic pot so the weight will keep it from toppling. 🤷♀️ No need to repot. Maybe even a cement pot.
Let the inflos die off (: they take a tonnnnn of energy for the plant to produce so it’s best to let the plant reabsorb the nutrients. If you don’t intent to pollinate cut the inflos when they are tiny and just coming out of the petiole.
I'm one of the people who think Anthuriums are easier than Philodendrons🫣. Idk Philos just don't grow well for me, but this year, I'm taking another swing at it😂. Also, I have been seeing the different variants of A. Metallicum! I think it's because Ecuador growers have introduced A. Metallicum Cf and Aff on the market, which looks different than the OG Metallicum.
I like that you don't cut the imperfect leaves off just like in nature. Leaves drop when and only when they are ready too ❤️
i gave away all my 160+ plants 3 years ago due to work load. and now im starting fresh and focusing mainly on Anthurium! first plant to get are the Regale!
"I love a challenge" literally the vibe for 2023!! Lol omg and this Cinderella slipper reference took me out LMAO
I would kill for an anthurium collection as gorgeous as yours 😭😭♥️ thank you so much for gracing us with their presence
Your anthuriums are incredible 😍
Im so happy to hear that your patreon has been a success. Your content is fantastic, you’ve earned this ❤
Aw thank you so much Sherry 💚💚💚
I love your moodeanum and your regale the most! And the veins on your not-fave Forgetii are unreal 👀 Love your anthurium collection 🫶
My fav has to be the Regale the veining is just so stunningly beautiful 💚
Am so happy for you that patreon is going well Kevin you deserve it 😉❤️ xx
Regaleeeee 💚💚 and thank you so much ☺️
I’m always a fan of your channel! But this video is amazing. YOUR energy and charisma LITERALLY made my mood elevate! Thank you. Cheers 🥂
Kevin you have so much love to give the plants-it’s amazing ! I think this is why they grow like this for you. If I were a plant I would want you to care for me. You’re a plant God.
Your videos are a whole experience! Just stunning! I love seeing your gorgeous collection!!!! "Owe I stepped on pon. Worse than stepping on a lego" 😅😂
That Regale👀 holy wishlist plant!! Absolutely gorgeous
My fav is the metallicum as I have one too. The big leaves are gorgeous! 😍
Omg you should totally try!
my ever first anthurium was the ones commonly sold in big box stores, and by far is my favorite anthurium

Oh my! Your plants are HUGE! My goal
I absolutely love that you show the god and bad!
Haha yaaaaaassss 💚
That is so fascinating about anthurium pulling nutrients from a dying leaf to feed new growth!
Right!! I love plants there’re so fascinating. Some immobile nutrients include calcium and iron and that’s why I always include calmag in my nutrient solution because the plant can’t pull it from older growth 💚☺️

Omg that is so cool!!! And I 100% agree with you it’s truly a hassle.
You ate the Ghost 🤣,you made me laugh so hard, thank you Kevin,i was a little bit down today 🥴🥰
I totally ate the ghost 👻 🫢. Oh I’m glad! I’m sorry you’re feeling down 💚 sending hugs 🤗
Love all your anthuriums! ❤They all look great. Biggest leaves ever 😮
W.O.W 😮 the size of those leaves are unbelievable! How does your apartment fit all your plants?!
Your Anthurium Regale take my breath away… but I want Pendulifolium and Furcatum in my collection. Waaaaaaaaa
Hey Remy! 💚 omg yesss those 2 are just lovely easy anthuriums. I love the leaves 🤩
Omg your leaves are insaneeee. Subscribed 🙌🏼 you need to put some weights in the bottom of your pots 🤣
Omgoodness when you said ghost👻 lol. All of your Anthuriums are beautiful 💚💕🪴
Amazing your collections of antherium have grown so big.very beautiful
Aw thank you! I love them so much 💚🥰
@@kevin. thanks for give us many inspirations about indoor plants
Amazing collection.
Have you ever thought of cutting off the crispy parts of those leaves that no longer supplying nutrients to the rest of the plant?
Beautiful anthurium collection! Thanks for sharing.
Aw thank you carol 💚

Your antheriums are just awesome by the way. Truly remarkable!
I love your veitchii. It’s stunning 🤩
Omg right 😭
I love the Regale and the Metallicum, but my absolute fav is the Tesla. I'm definitely going to be getting one of those one day.
Veitchii x forgetii = alien 👽 ♥️
Omg that would be so interesting

Pendilaflorum might have set a record for heights leca drop, recently got a big bill, hoping it doesn't become a problem.
Karteldaun has a veitchii x moodeanum and it’s incredibly beautiful- they have pics in their story highlights😍

Every time I see an update on your anthurium or Hoya I run 🏃♀️
I mean, of them tbh, I love your plant chores videos too, but I love love love seeing how huge your anthurium and pots of Hoya are holy 🥵

@@kevin. That's it. Thank you, Kevin! :)
I 💚 all your plants
Aw yay thanks 😊
I am jealous and want so 😂
Great looking anthuriums! I live in a condo too. Have you tried aroid mix for your anthuriums and philos? Having troubles with root rots. Thanks!

When you mention your nutrient solution, is that the solution you showed yourself making in your passive hydro/LECA video?
Yes! It’s that one + hydroguard. Sorry I meant to put the link in the description
I brought a matalicum home from the aroid show, and it lost a leaf and is one of 2 plants I brought home that did nothing ( the queen was the other) I unpotted both today and both had horrible root rot, so now both have to grow a whole new root system 😅
Also, regarding the crystallinum dark form don’t fret over breaking the baby leaf. It’ll promote activation of new growth from the stem (:
Would you tell me what king of fertilizers . You used for the plant, pleases
I just saw an anthurium warocqueanum at my local conservatory and it was ENORMOUS. I want one so bad now
I am looking for a compact grower I can put on a balcony that does not have direct light. I want it to be a center piece. What would you suggest?
I REAL like the pot set up you have for the warocqueanum. You think that's a way to grow her faster?? It looks like it's wrapped in plastic tp keep from drying out? Is she too in lechuza pon??
After seeing your beautiful and impressive sized plants, I think I've just accepted that anthuriums will always just have imperfect leaves. Lol
Yassss👏👏so happy for you minus the anthurium oopsy 😬😚
Omg the Anthurium oopsy was so scrayyyy 😅
Your face in the thumbnail is everything 🐅🦁🐯

That metallicum is a beeeaaasssttt
Started transferring my anthiriums from moss (🤢) to leca but now I think I need to move them to Pon!
I just got my first anthirium.. I have a very juvenile crystallinum..
Do you ever pull the old sheaths off the plants. It seems there is a lot of brown crispy bits that distracts from the beauty of the plant.
I've been meaning to ask... did you get rid of or sell alot of plants? Your room is not as jungley as I remember it to be.
Hey! Spider mites forced me to get rid of a lot of plants + I cut off the majority of the leaves off a lot of my more mature plants
@HakunaLaPlanta man, thats pretty savage! I just spray the heck out of my plants and then order beneficials. I can't bear to cut my plant babies. Even to propagate, its always so hard!

Alright Anthuriums 💚💚
YAAAAASSS 🥰🤩
HOW DO YOU GET THEM SO BIG???
Man you weren't kidding about no filter. There's so much damage to all of these. I would be sad
anthurium pendulifolium is serving sailor moon hair vibes 😂
Omg TRUUEEEEEEEEE
Nothing strokes my ego more than a new regale leaf 😂
Waw..mantap bang
