@@MythicalForce27 fair enough, kinda crazy idea but it would be interesting if you'd have to do some quest or challenge for the brawler when it first release (like what Clash Royale use to do with new cards). Would mostly fix the chances of a apocalypse happening
@@MythicalForce27There has been Edgarpocalypse, Gromstars, Micopocalypse, and Larrypocalypse (and also Kitpocalyose even though he is legendary). Apocalypses are still common, a rare brawler would ruin everything. It's just the fact that if a brawler is released broken, people will get it for easy trophies.
This video has made me realise Rosa is actually a really well designed brawler. She has a kit that complements her playstyle, super that encourages her to go in for offensive pushes, and doesn't have the same shortcomings as someone like bull (super that requires a gadget to stop or otherwise you might get yourself killed) or primo (less consistent dmg). The tank trait was the final cherry on top.

I was going to mention the iirc 80% for 6 seconds, like I was literally telling myself that, but you mentioned it so it's nice to see that my memory isn't too bad. This was back in 2019, right? When she released, the servers broke, and that screenshot of 3v3 Rosa isn't a meme, she was everywhere in every games! I can tell you I was having my fun with Shelly XD
I'm glad you mentioned the tank trait at the beginning, because I noticed she didn't have it the last time I came back, and it was a bit of a pain to win. But this time, as I came back since the mutations, she got the tank trait by then
I never unlocked her mutation and i'm glad for that. Bushes unfortunately aren't useful in the scenario where you can't approach anybody cause they deal 15k dmg with 1 ammo/super, can simply run away from you, destroy bushes instantly or turn the match into a bullet hell so bad your healing and high health are useless.
They're doing her so dirty.

As a rosa main i am subscribing. Rosa has so much potential that no one sees. She actually has the function of absorbing damage and moving forward. I love playing rosa so much because of her uniqueness
As a sam main i can say that playing the tank with randoms in not usually a good idea (i know sam is classified as an assassin but he is in fact a tank) cause most of the times i feel like the tank work is to create the pressure even at the cost of your life, and then your team should capitalize on that but a lot of the times idk why they just play passive after you just pushed the whole enemy team into spawn and they don’t help you whatsoever when you go in, they just let you die.
sam is a mobile assassin first and foremost with his speed and approach, but due to his pressure with health and super he can function like a tank, and he usually does in practice

Rosa was always one of my fav tanks. I like how rewarding it is to just play how she was intended and how simple yet complex her kit can be.
What i don't like is
- how she relies on bushes so much she's barely playable on maps without them.
- Also how her DPS isn't high enough to deal with Bull or Primo unless she has a super. Primo just stun locks her while Bull takes advantage of her bushes and low dps.
- getting counterpicked by her counters. Amber is like 1# counter to her.
These are natural weaknesses which i don't mean to say should be changed (maybe change Thorny Gloves for something better?, it's just these issues are what EVERYONE hates about her that other tanks don't have so much problem with, hence why her userate is so low.

Ya know? I just got a newfound appreciation for Rosa. Been really enjoying playing a lot of tanks as of late (Jacky, Ash, Bull, Meg and Hank) so I might as well give her a try.
She's definitely my personal most played/favorite tank... I feel like I have fun with Rosa everytime I use her

Since her main function is taking damage, could Rosa be the first tank that actually works as a tank?
first tank so far! she's a good example of a vanguard, or a brawler that keeps locking onto enemies, making themselves target #1 on the battlefield, while going aggressive. in general, vanguards are offensive tanks, wardens are defensive tanks, though tanks as a whole are hard to pull off in this game because there are three lanes for three brawlers--team fights are not the focus of the game.
Frank was released first and he's serving a very similar role albeit struggles with doing it well cause of his vulnerability to ...everything.
I think he just needs to be able to walk while using his attack like Ash and Bibi while also having his health reduced to not be a complete menace
Also Buster works similarly though on the flipsiide his super is more defensive while gadget more offensive.

I wish the devs would come up with unique stuff like they did with rksa instead of copying multiple brawler's already established machanics or previous mechanics and turning it to 11 *cough* angleo/medlodie/L&L (somehow still top 3 thrower)/kit/draco *cough*
angelo, melodie, kit and larry are fine, draco though, his design makes me mad
@@Nqsmn how are angelo and melodie fine? They've been meta since release and angelo is getting a damn hypercharge as if being the best brawler isn't already enough. Kit is the most cheesy brawler in the game, it's only good in showdown knockout and duels. So 2 of the 3 are meta with recycled mechanics and turning those recycled mechanics very strong and the 3rd one is cheesy low skill brawler also with recycled mechanics.

Brawlers like Hank and Meg who have tank qualities like zoning but not enough damage to be considered a fighter
tanks are brawlers whose sole purpose is to tank damage for their teammates. this really doesn't work without specific qualities like zoning, which is why a lot of 'tanks" in the game are actually fighters. for example, bull uses his health to gain advantages in a 1v1 scenario, but he doesn't necessarily have the ability to tank damage and allow teammates to push up
