Best review of this monitor. It's important to see how real text is visible on this monitor since it's 2K. From your video it doesn't look pixelated, but best in class of 2K so not disturbing.

I just discovered this ytb channel and I love it. I knew about standing desks for some time but now I’m convinced to buy one, it definitely will be a life changer. ❤
Great video, Travis! I'm currently using a single monitor above my MacBook to easily glance up to reference my notes and videos. This monitor looks great, as someone with an inflammatory eye condition, I love seeing more accessible tech!
Who puts dual monitors side by side? You have one in the middle, and then one to the direct right or left. I never even considered them having then symmetrical what is the reasoning for that?
when i got my pc, my setup was so scuffed, i had a 20 inch led monitor. i got an upgrade the next year with a 24 inch ips monitor and i was shocked how bad the quality of my led monitor is, a complete night and day difference. i can't imagine how this new technology would benefit it's users who stares at screens for work
Interesting. Currently I have an LG 27" 2K monitor. At times I wish I had gotten a 32" for just a bit more horizontal space. Now, the question with these Benq monitors is - do these special features work with Linux?
Thanks for giving back to the community, ! Im currently using a laptop and a monitor one above the other, and I always have to look up and down, so I try this too :)
I am currently learning program on my laptop, but its screen is too small for my comfort. So, I plan to get a monitor for my setup in the near future. So I wish I could get the monitor ❤
I'm using an 27 inch single monitor as for now for web development mostly on personal project. As a color blind I really liked the idea of my monitor change the colors accordingly to my issue. Looks super cool
Thanks for the video, I currently am using a 28" 4k monitor. I use it for coding all day and playing games at night...I can't drive 4k, so I sometimes wonder if I should have gone with 1440p. 4k can be quite nice for text clarity though.
I’ve recently realised, single monitor is the move for me. Whenever i have my laptop open and the office monitor, i get distracted and don’t give my 100% on the screen I’m working in
I've been subscribed for some time now. Always good content! Thank you! I have 2 setups. My work setup has a 32-inch LG front and center, with a 25-inch Dell in portrait mode on my left side, and a 25-inch Dell in landscape mode on my right side. My personal setup has 2 x 27-inch Dell monitors: one front and center, and the other to my left side at a slight angle toward me.
Great review on the BenQ GW2790QT! I'm curious if you'd recommend this monitor for someone who primarily works within a browser to run their business, with occasional use of Canva and Photoshop, but no video editing involved. Would it suit these needs well?"
I usually set up my 24" monitor next to my laptop, but end up using the laptop more. Although the monitor has adjustability it takes a long time to set up properly. I just bought a monitor stand and realized that I was going to need a new monitor since the old one is quite heavy. I was searching for eye care monitors since I am programming and staring at the screen for almost 10 + hours now and this video appeared just in time.
I have a 32-inch monitor for primary and a 24 inch as a secondary. I used to have them both on the side and swivel back and forth. Now the 32 is centered right in front and the 24 is only for emails and calls.
I use one 13.3 inch 2K external monitor with my M1 Air. It has served me well but am looking for a better option and perhaps go back to use one monitor.
I've been using the LG 32" Ergo Monitor - Just can never find the sweet spot on resolution with my MacBook Pro. Yes, I'm commenting on the giveaway but I do enjoy the honest feedback from your videos. As someone who is self taught all my life, I do enjoy learning from others.
Hey Travis! Amazing video and monitor. I’m currently working with a 1080p LG monitor and my Macbook Air. A lot of eye flickering and cables around the desk 😂
I've got two laptops, an Acer aspire 5 and an acer chromebook which I converted to run Linux mint. That's pretty much my set up at the moment but hopefully someday soon, I can get a monitor with which I can connect the chromebook as the resolution is really poor. Thanks for the great advice BTW, Godspeed.
Saw your video on monitor while watching another video,I love this 27 " model, currently working with a laptop 27" inch is better than 24" in my opinion
Dual 28" monitors but considering adding a third so that I don't have the bevel right in the middle. I wasn't considering BenQ, but I will look into them now.
Using 40" TV as a monitor. The only cheap option I could find during COVID. Looking to upgrade since it is only 30Hz refresh & hoping for something closer to 96%+ P3 60hz+ refresh.
I would use the monitor in a two-monitor setup. I have main ultrawide and if I won the monitor in the giveaway I would have it on a VESA arm on the right side in a vertical position, for looking at documentation and code.
@travismedia What kind of speaker set up are you running? I am trying to set up my official work space and I am looking at having this monitor and small speakers that would accommodate a smaller working space.
I use a Samsung 24" monitor that I probably had for 10 years now as my center display. I had always thought about upgrading but never made the jump to do it. Besides that, I just use my 16" laptop on the side as a 2nd monitor. 2 monitors always seemed to be enough for my needs but more real estate for the center display would definitely be appreciated.
isn't 75Hz refresh rate a bit low? there are other brands that have monitors in same price range with similar characteristics and have a higher refresh rate
I currently don't have a monitor setup, my 13inch mac's screen is as big as it gets so it would be cool if I could have a monitor setup and not have to lean in so much; and thanks for the videos 🤝they really helped me in my devOps journey!
I currently have a 49 inch monitor that I love(d)! It’s starting to flicker big time making it hard to focus while coding. So a monitor made for developers?! I’m sold!
Blown away at the quality of your videos! Currently using dual screen method with a laptop and 24-inch monitor. I like using my laptop screen to keep my notes and general customer desires and use my monitor for my development.
Ever since I went with a two monitor setup I never went back. At work I have just the one - and I'm quite sure I'm about 30% less productive just because of that!
I like having 2 27” 4k monitors, but have lately been debating going to a minimal setup with one bigger monitor because of the exact issue you are talking about with the centre bezel
Consistently great content, thanks.👌🏾 I had a 34 inch BenQ that I paused using when my macbook pro arrived. Wife has since hijacked it. Mac novelty has worn off, so I have to organize a screen 🤷🏾♂️
I enjoyed the take on exercise regimens - anything will work if one sticks to it! I have a Dell Precision laptop from 2013, and a Latitude from 2016, with 1080p and 720p displays, respectively. I can read my code on the latter if I blow the font size up enough... 🙂
Honestly I don't even have a monitor setup yet 😅 I've got a tv on my sta.ding desk but just got into programming and have been scouring to find the best products I can get for a desk setup that will be optimal for my overall health and productivity. Great video though, I always appreciate other people's insight into pp roducts like these when I'm doing my own personal research
I just have a curved LG monitor but i want to go back to a normal monitor as it makes it easier for screen sharing. I always make sure to go gor little walks throughout the day with my dog. I do have a standing desk but i never use it in yhe standing position lol.
I am currently studying computer science on my laptop, however the screen is too small for my comfort. So, I intend to get a monitor for my setup in the near future. So, I hope I can get the monitor.
I had seen programmers having 2-3 screens before on TH-cam. And imagined I would too when I earn my living as a programmer. I want to know the configuration of such pcs. Can you make a video as to guide how to setup such an desktop too.
Personally this is mainly for day trading I would like to have at least 2 monitors running just so I can see multiple time frames at once and then a third monitor so I could view my positions, things can move pretty fast so it’s easier when you don’t have to constantly switch through time frames which is why I desperately need this monitor😂 thank you for the wisdom
Same here, I found out that a significant portion of my eyestrain comes from screen flickering. I never had eye strain when using a Dell monitor for 8 to 10 hours per day in the past.
@TravisMedia_ the pleasure is all mine, your tutorials are inspiring 👍 I'm sure we could talk all day. I've worked in I.T. Tech support for over 20 years as well as other pursuits but it always intrigued me what was behind the 'curtain" so to speak. I've worked alongside developers and programmers and onsite with customers. During COVID it started self learning at home and started on coding with python. .
My setup can be a lot better no monitor single laptop no keyboard or mouse 😥. Looking to improve it with a single monitor, standing desk, mouse & keyboard
I used to have 2 monitors but it's too messy to maintain now I have on left my MacBook and my right my Display screen is much cleaner look for my setup.
Hey, I would really appreciate this monitor, I’m a 2nd year computer science student and my old 22” monitor broke last week so I’ve been searching for a good priced monitor since. Very informative video, thank you.
I personally don't like multiple monitors at least when it comes to work environment, a 32 inch monitor would be perfect for me. I am not using any monitors right now just my 6th gen 13 inch laptop and its tiny screen. But I guess 27 or 32 inch is perfect for development any content consumption and i prefer standing desk , sitting all day it's my thing. Btw nice workspace ❤
I'm a Web Development college student from Canada and I currently just use my laptop and single monitor for coding. It has gotten me by for the past 2 years but the eye strain from my laptop is intense and my monitor is a really old 27 inch MSI gaming monitor. I love the colour modes and brightness intelligence on that monitor because it definitely would help with headaches, lord knows I get a ton 😂 The eye strain is really bad so I've hoped to save up for a monitor thats easier on the eyes! Love your vids Travis, thanks for inspiring me!
Hey Travis this was a super helpful video, I currently do all my work from my laptop. Recently I have been noticing headaches and sore eyes and today I thought to look into this and found your video. It's true, we don't notice things until they come up, and it's been a solid year working like this for me. I was considering a multi setup, but it makes more sense to have 27" or similar main monitor.
At the moment I only use my laptop to code but it has been really hard for me to manage all my tabs and work on my coding assignments for school or for my projects. Hi Travis, I'm following you for a while now and I think the content you upload is very interesting and how you explain things couldn't be more perfect. For my monitor set-up I use single monitor like you, I don't like to have 2 or 3 (or more haha). I think it is quite enough for programming and casual web browsing which I do most of the time. Thanks again for everything you do!
How is this not sponsored when they gave you two monitors for free?
haha, true brother.
For me, a single 32 inch with a USB C connected to my mac. I like it simply minimalist. Single wide monitor reduces lots of distraction.
Was that a baby space heater??? That’s awesome!
I had one 24” monitor, but was editing a video and it tipped over and broke. I just found the channel and I love it!
I have my monitor on half brightness and 50% blue light filter. Thanks Travis!

I just use one single monitor, currently I don't have a good monitor, it has thick bezels and has VERY bad quality. Love your videos!
Love the channel! Waiting to join your new community! I use two monitors.

Currently not using a monitor
and yes neck/back pain is real,
It's recommended to have the top of display at the eye level [ergonomics].
Im currently on a 20" monitor. I find it too small for pretty mych every task getting. This new one will definetly make my life a lot better.
You're each and every video is very helpful. I like to use a 27inch monitor on my desk

Large, single monitor. That’s all I need. Alt+Tab has always worked for me. Great channel, Travis!

Does it cause eye strain ??? Is it comfortable for your eyes ???
All these eye care features are really worth it ????
Hello - I like working on dual monitors. An additional monitor would help. Thanks
What the name
Single 27in monitor! Ditched the laptop-monitor setup .Been considering a bigger monitor though.!
Using 40" TV as a monitor. The only cheap option I could find during COVID. Looking to upgrade since it is only 30Hz refresh & hoping for something closer to 96%+ P3 60hz+ refresh.
I found that I'm most productive with a 2 monitor setup, 1 for the main work and other for all other apps ( slack, spotify, browsers)

Im using M5 and 3 year using its dead :D
definitely two monitors on main system and sometimes a vertical one on laptop for documentation all 21"
isn't 75Hz refresh rate a bit low? there are other brands that have monitors in same price range with similar characteristics and have a higher refresh rate
I currently have one 32” but prefer two 32” monitors. My dream would be one 49”
I've always preferred more square monitors and I'm trying to break from that as there's not many options
I currently don't have a monitor setup, my 13inch mac's screen is as big as it gets so it would be cool if I could have a monitor setup and not have to lean in so much; and thanks for the videos 🤝they really helped me in my devOps journey!

You’ve been selected for the monitor giveaway! Email me at travis@travis.media so I can get your details.
The brightness intelligence in my last benq monitor was tricked by my monitor light.
And the low refresh rate is way too low I feel.
22'' vertical old asus monitor side laptop screen, I really enjoy vertical settings too :)
Now that i look at it your right i always find myself looking at the bezels so i think im gonna ditch the second monitor 😂 great video
Ever since I went with a two monitor setup I never went back. At work I have just the one - and I'm quite sure I'm about 30% less productive just because of that!
I use dual monitor setup with the main screen MSI 27'' 1440p + Dell U2410 (24'') in portrait orientation
I like having 2 27” 4k monitors, but have lately been debating going to a minimal setup with one bigger monitor because of the exact issue you are talking about with the centre bezel

Cardboard boxes and real books raise the level of any keyboard.
What about those mini-projectors? The screen is not on the desk.
Simple setup. Only notebook + mouse and keyboard. Guess I got used to it, but winning one motitor would be great 😃
I enjoyed the take on exercise regimens - anything will work if one sticks to it! I have a Dell Precision laptop from 2013, and a Latitude from 2016, with 1080p and 720p displays, respectively. I can read my code on the latter if I blow the font size up enough... 🙂
I just got a xeon workstation was looking for monitors thanks

I am hoping to buy this monitor tonight. Maybe would like to have one more monitor next to my new one so that my desk setup is completely. What say!!
I just have a curved LG monitor but i want to go back to a normal monitor as it makes it easier for screen sharing. I always make sure to go gor little walks throughout the day with my dog. I do have a standing desk but i never use it in yhe standing position lol.

I use 2 21.5-inch monitors for my setup.
I had seen programmers having 2-3 screens before on TH-cam. And imagined I would too when I earn my living as a programmer. I want to know the configuration of such pcs. Can you make a video as to guide how to setup such an desktop too.
Thanks. What is a luck. I have started to look for replacing my old 10 years monitor and here are you with presenting one of the monitors. ;)
Is it possible to insert internet cable to monitor and get output to my MacBook over USB-C connection together with charing?
I use 27 inch View-sonic Monitor, I always feel pain on my eyes , I got blue light glasses from Amazon but still not working .
Same here, I found out that a significant portion of my eyestrain comes from screen flickering. I never had eye strain when using a Dell monitor for 8 to 10 hours per day in the past.
Brilliant. . my next tool I need

I have a 27 inch iMac.
My setup can be a lot better no monitor single laptop no keyboard or mouse 😥. Looking to improve it with a single monitor, standing desk, mouse & keyboard
I just use my laptop no external monitor, need to buy one cause 14 inch 1600*900 tn panel is shit.
damn, so I cant grab myself a better monitor until I go back to gym.... I like it!
unfortunately I'm not from us, any chance?
A large single monitor or two 27 inch monitor
Currently dont have a monitor. but looking to buy one. i've starting coding a year ago on my laptop, it works but a monitor would be of great help.
I used to have 2 monitors but it's too messy to maintain now I have on left my MacBook and my right my Display screen is much cleaner look for my setup.
I just bought this monitor today, and trust me, the text is not legible. I am a UX/UI designer.
32 inch?
1x monitor is more than sufficient for me
2 monitors, each 32 inch.
Hey, I would really appreciate this monitor, I’m a 2nd year computer science student and my old 22” monitor broke last week so I’ve been searching for a good priced monitor since. Very informative video, thank you.
Dual monitors ftw! 2 x 27" monitors
Currently, I don't have a monitor and using my laptop's display
Single 32" monitor
I personally don't like multiple monitors at least when it comes to work environment, a 32 inch monitor would be perfect for me. Hey Travis this was a super helpful video, I currently do all my work from my laptop.

I dont even have a monitor. I just use my laptop, thinking of getting a monitor.
Be honest, that's a terrible monitor. You made this video because they asked you and offered smt.
I'm a beginner (also currently studying) that just started to code. I also just got a laptop and wouldn't mind being gifted the monitor. Btw I live in Nigeria and if the distance is the issue, you can give someone else in need like me.
People dont do simple thing, will helps a lot in long run.
Standing desk, look away frequently exercise.
I am planning budget to get monitor seems not soon 😆
what's the brand of your shirt?😆
I don't have any monitor i use 3 of the books for laptop but I do have a keyboard and mouse the reason for this setup is just to keep awake my self full eyes opening! 👍👍
