    A huge thanks to Magestic Records for providing the music. Please go by and check these guys out they are doing some amazing things.
    "This video is for educational and entertainment purposes only. All guns displayed off the range are safety checked and only displayed pointing in safe directions. All footage at the range is private range and the gun is handled by a Range Officer certified by the National Range Officer Institute. This video is not promoting or attempting to sell guns. Sale of guns is heavily regulated and I am not associated with any federally licensed firearms dealer. The actions of all firearms displayed are unmodified and presented as commonly available from original equipment manufacturers. This video is not instructional on building or modifying firearms. Nothing has been done to increase the rate of fire or lethality of the firearms displayed nor would I advocate making such modification as it presents a huge liability and potential risk of harm or death."

    As a Western European shooter, I envy your ranges so much. Finding 400 meters is already difficult here, and the few 1000+ meters ranges are military ranges (possible to shoot as a civilian but limited number of places).

    Great Video. Although some of your information on the 300 PRC contains a little to much Hornady fluff. Mark & Sam have a channel on TH-cam that covers 300 PRC vs 300 Winchester Magnum. And the results are extremely interesting. There really was no reason for the 300 PRC to come out. Other then to sell a bunch of overpriced ammo.

Actually when I first got the gun that was all I could get and I was about to send the whole gun back to Barrett when my buddy was able to get a box of match, figured I'd try that before I contacted Barrett and it will just about 1 hole the match ammo. Kind of weird, hopefully yours will work a little better with the ELDX. Thanks for watching!

    The MRAD is an incredible platform, too bad this firearms freak out has caused EVERYTHING to disappear.

    So this is the gun in MW2? Seems like it hits pretty good. Just when I want it to in the game it can’t 😂

    What is the nubby handle on the bottom of the stock? What is it called, who makes it? Thanks!

      It’s a Accushot monopod made by B&T Atlas. Just good for Atlas bipod and monopods and it should come up. It actually will flip down and support the rifle instead of using the sand bag. Thanks for watching.

    How does the r30 suppressor with the vented endcap compare to the deadair e-brake?

    • @AlabamaArsenal
      @AlabamaArsenal  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well, the Dead Air E brake is actually just an empty chamber with vents. At least from my experience it probably does better reducing sound even farther then it does actually reducing recoil. Im sure it does a little, but the vents at the end of the R30 have fins to direct gas flow just like that of an actual muzzle brake. Thus noticeably reducing recoil. Thanks for watching!

    What reticle did you go with for this shot? I know you had the horus on your 5-25. I’m looking to do a mile shot with my Sako TRG42 in .338LM. I am buying this scope but can’t decide between (non illuminated) Tremor 3 and (illuminated) TMR.. any input?

    Congrats on your goal !
    Great video as usual.
    Question : how much is the total ‘package’ we see on this video ?
    (Rifle, mod’, scope...)

    • @AlabamaArsenal
      @AlabamaArsenal  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      BARRETT MRAD SMR $4200
      Leupold MK5HD 7-35 $2299
      KGM Technologies R30 $1000
      Atlas 5H $449
      Total $7948
      Stay tuned though, we may have taken a second rifle that day. One that will do less havoc to the bank account. Thanks for watching!

      Thanks for the details. That’s a tough to swallow but you need what you need. Glad to see you are having fun with it.
      I’ll stick with my AR10 build 6.5CM for now.
