Old Fords never Die - They just Go Opel.
Hahaha you win the Internet today. Great comment
I can remember when this was road legal on carbs and nitrous 😀 they are a great bunch and a crazy little car!
Must have been a while back now that. Such a great car and Team.
Holy crap, that thing launches like a scalded cat!!
Haha . Great way of describing it. It sure does move !
that's nuts. and only 4 cylinders..kudos to the engine builder
Its such an impressive car 🚀🏁
Thats amazing for a ford car that old to go that fast even with vauxhall power.......... crack on nice vid
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for comment
Vauxhall powered ford? That's like a Jake paul powered Tyson.
Haha Definitely win the best comment competition 👌 🤣
Isn't the C20LET technically a Cosworth anyways?
My Calibra Turbo 4x4 had a Cosworth head.
Well everyday is a school day. Thanks for information. Had a Google and you are 100% right. Cheers for pointing that out.
Also 4x4 Turbo Calibra !! What a car !!
@@spottedmotors yeh I wish I still had it, stuck to the road like on rails, I had a 3 inch stainless downpipe with a 3 inch AFM pipe the other side of the turbo connected to big mushroom filter, full stainless powerflow exhaust, race staggered oil seal, uprated Courtney turbo, uprated clutch and flywheel, remapped to about 280hp, a turbo timer, locked full time 4x4 transfer box, full irmscher body kit and loads of stuff that i now can't remember.
I swear it was faster then my current daily drive 2016 BMW M235i, if not it wasn't far off.
Heads were cast by cosworth because vauxhall could only cast porous ones !! hence the Coscast Marking on them
So that’s what a bullet looks like
Its crazy quick isn't it !
4 cylinders driven by a "jet engine", that's what these are. Nothing else.
Works well 🚀
How much bhp has that LET
We would love to know. Wonder if there is more info on their channel @mk1kieran
Around 1200hp-ish, here it’s only on our 7.60 map which is 32psi so a bit lower power
