    • @modelermark172

      That's exactly what I was thinking while I was watching this. I thought I was going to see the restoration of a neglected, damaged and discarded model car 'survivor;' not the desecration of a well-thought out, highly-detailed weathering job (especially that body rust!) The skills of this model builder are NOT in question - they are excellent, no doubt. But the next time they get their hands on a model like that, it would be better if they used their skills to build a "barn find" diorama, instead . . . .

    • @brokensuave
      @brokensuave 2 ปีที่แล้ว +29

      Yeah it must have taken many hours to create the 'abandoned car' look, which was very appealing. Then it was all undone, and became just another boring model. The first iteration was unique and interesting, it caught the eye. I get that its not my channel or content, so each to their own. Its still good workmanship, just seems an odd thing to do. I would definitely enjoy watching a video showing how the 'abandoned car' went from regular model kit, to unique art piece.

    Bloody amazing!! Once again I've made the mistake of watching this at work while doing the paperwork...these videos are always mesmerising...you have great talent brother👍

    The restoration was pretty nice. But the original model was infinitely more realistic and could have easily appeared in a movie scene in a forced perspective shot of a junk yard, or post-apocalyptic hellscape.

    A lot of people are saying how they like the car before but I like the idea of someone making a video of making the car look junk and old and then him restoring it. It’s good idea I like the videos.

    Sou um brasileiro e sou fanático por miniaturas principalmente desses muscle car(banheiras) e essa réplica é magnífica queria encontrar uma dessa aq no Brasil mas eles não valorizam muito esse tipo de arte de miniaturas automobilística e a minoria que gosta, e sei que aí é diferente vcs realmente admira esse tipo de coisa que acho incrível

    Этот видос ещё примечателен тем, что в начале модель выглядит тоже правдоподобно. Так они и выглядят на свалках, и надпись на лобовом тоже аутентичная, аж сердце сжалось)))

    It turned out nice like any other model, but it’s a shame to see someone else’s detailed work being ripped away, I liked the weathered art beforehand, also nice screw stripper 3,000

    I'm only laughing, because this is an actual representation of the used car market in the United States right now.
    It's only been in three accidents, has a junkyard engine in it. The brakes don't work. The tires are about to fall off. And it's only been underwater once. But, it can be yours.. for 500 equal payments of, 50% of your income or more. Don't worry about that whole front end falling off.. it'll buff out.
    The Carfax said everything was great. Only one owner.. a grandma who only drove it back and forth to church and the grocery store.
