Hello Taimur, can you describe your specific Launch model to check the market value. Not sure if an advance or basic model is needed for this task. All the best. Thank you.
Hi! Great information. In fact, i have a hard shifting issue with my camry 2005 V6. It also has a delay when i accelerate. Would you be able to check if I need to put a new TCM unit or repair or replace it? There is a jerk i experience bet 40-60 speed. I have gone everywhere but all give me different info due to which i have to trust them and end up paying where the problem still exists. Otherwise, the car is wow! Superb and super cool.
Thanks for the detailed video. I just replaced my transmission temperature sensor for 2004 Toyota Rav4 because I had code P0713 and I wasn't getting overdrive, after clearing the code and test driving it, the code returned. Do you recommend transmission memory reset in my case? I must add that I recently replaced my valve body too and I don't think the reset was done.
Hello, I have 2004 Camry 3.0 v6 with u140e 4 speed transmission. Actually shifting 1-4 is fine. But when driving above 60 Kmh lock up clutch working fine. If I give it more throttle lock up clutch disengage and after that won’t engage again above 60 kmh. I need move shifter to 2nd or neutral to make lock up can engage again. If I driving gentle lock up clutch keep engage. Only when i give more throttle when lock up is engaging after that it release and won’t engage again. Is it possible do reset memory to fix this? I buy car used, but I know the transmission have been rebuild, but don’t know if has been reset or not. Thank you
You should scan it first and see the DTCs. Clear them and drive the vehicle to check if those DTCs reappear. If yes, then you need to repair the cause and finally try the reset option. Hope it helps.
