coffee machine element fix

how to test and change an element on a coffee machine, and what mistakes not to make.

hi is realiable to check the element with the buzzer so if it beeps it means that the elements are ok?

Maybe you can help. I have a R Cinquantotto. When I turn on it makes a loud click and then silence ..I don't have computer box because it's second hand. I've replaced motherboard. The inlet solenoids, and all the wires. Checked the high limit switches and tested them. Any ideas ? Greatly appreciated
