I’m in the Glide 3.0 50&56 degree SS and 60 degree TS after always playing Cleveland wedges for nearly 20 years, no matter what irons were in my bag. I moved to G425 irons and these wedges - I love them and they inspire so much confidence. They’re in for the long run.
Was hoping you’d try the 60 inside so we could see how well they pinball around the dealership😉. Was fitted for SM7’s - 1 of the best & most eye opening fittings I’ve had - 100% essential if you want to get what’s best for you without a doubt. Nice review, thx👍
Brilliant video, thank you, Sophie. I am going for a full bag fitting minus the driver next Wednesday. The driver has already been done. This is my second fitting. I have watched a couple of you wedge videos. I didn't realise that the lie angle might be different for a wedge. When I got my fitting done 9 months ago for my Cobra F Max Airspeed Irons including wedges. I didn't get separate wedges. From my original set which was a Lynx Crystal package set. I always preferred those wedges to my pair of Cobras. I say pair because I wouldn't want a 60 degree. I can't play the lob wedge at all at 25 handicap.
I’ve got Glide 2 & 3 wedges and really like them but don’t get a massive amount of spin from them , so looking forward to trying these out to see if they make a difference to my play around the green. Great review👍🏼
Bit of food for thought trying to choose my wedges and hopefully bringing that handicap down ..! Thank you for the insight. Hope we get a knock one day this winter.?
What did you end up with? I got fitted into G425 project x IO shafts 4 iron to PW, Glide wedges, Anser putter, G425 3 hybrid to replace my Cobra driving iron Max driver head 10.5 degrees set at 9.5. I've kept my Titleist 913 Fd 3 wood, Phenom x shaft 80 gram
Love the reviews but when you went inside to look at the spin numbers every shot that you put the numbers on screen was an estimated spin number which maybe lessens the impact slightly, do you use the metal dots or the RCT balls and if not why not?
I've owned a Ping Eye2 Sand wedge and in its day it was great with one minor flaw, it chewed the hell out of the balata balls we were playing at the time. Later, I picked up a Ping Glide 3.0 and liked it well enough, just not as much as the Vokeys.
Update-I recently added the Ping S159 to my bag and for me, they are better than the Vokeys. I'm playing 48, 54 & 58. Thinking of adding a 56 and going with 46, 50, 56 & 60. If I do, I want to try the Glides
Sophie, great review. do u think having 1 high & low bounce wedge to handle all needed shots or r u n the camp of all 3 being mid? Just yesterday I played 4-5 hard pan chips/shots (AZ) and then had 2-3 soft sand too. currently play 3.0 glides all 3 r SS, thinking of getting these in 50/12 - 54/14 - 58/8 or 10, what say u? ;0) (i210s are my gamers)

Great review. thinking of suiting these with i525’s moving from Mizuno MP20 and T20 wedges.
Hi Sophie thanks for explaining the history of these
Enjoy your videos and honest presentation. Great job

I've just got the Glide 4's in 50, 54 degrees 12 degrees bounce, and a 58 Glide 3 10 degrees bounce, I like the wider sole of the 3 for my lob wedge

Good review Sophie. Those are good looking wedges. I'm going to check them out at my local retailer.

Thanks Sophie. Great detail as always.
Love the backspin sound effects 🤣🤣🤣
Just ordered some, Can't wait to play them. Been using vokey's for a while and ping eye 2's before that
There is something about these wedges they look just right.
I’m having a full bag Ping fitting in about 6 weeks 💪🏼

wish I could learn how to pick up the bal on the green like that!! I've tried it, but must have the very wrong technique! LOL

excellent content as usual
Man you can eat dinner off your divots ... So clean. As always just an incredible opinion. And dem wedges ... They look smick.
Fine looking wedges but at €200 here in Ireland i think i'll pass or wait till a few 2nd hand ones are up for sale.
Shame you did not try the E grind
I find the whole wedge thing too complicated. I play the glide 3.0. now the grinds and the shapes have changed into the the glide 4.0.
Q
Tried them over the weekend. They’re utterly hideous!
