- Time to get rid of the 14 year old steering wheel with its grotty leather and fit it with a brand new Kode one. Sorry for the late upload, this was due to cheap parts breaking

Watched as Im after the same wheel and wanted someone elses opinion on it, couldn't make my mind up on deep dish or half dish but I think going by what you said half dish is the way to go
To be honest I have got used to it now but I do feel that the half dish will feel more comfortable when indicating, let me know what you think when you have done it 👍👍
@@UnluckySully Will do, now that your used to what are your thoughts on general driving comfort? do you still feel like you sit too close to the wheel?
@@Jamie-iy9es yea it's still comfortable and again I have gotten used to having the steering wheel closer to me. The only "negative" is that it takes that little bit longer to reach for the gear stick but again its barely anything 👍👍
I have an 02 ep3 Si and i wna assume this would fit the same? if so detachable steering wheel coming soon

Did you find that the wheel felt to far away to reach the Indicators?
Yea a lot further away, but that is because it is a deep dish. Wish I got a normal one 😂

Why did you decide to change the honda wheel? Its such a great wheel, never would change just refurb personally. Good video 👍

Hey just a question, did your civic pass the mot with that steering wheel? I wanna do the ssme to my car but im worried it wont pass mot. Cuz the law says you cant delete airbags or something :/
I haven't had my mot done since installing the steering wheel but I'm sure it will as there are other airbags in the car. I haven't heard of it failing from anyone I know. Maybe insurance won't cover you if you take the steering wheel out?

Hi bro, i have a question. How did you make the steering wheel straight? Setting convergence?
Hey man, na I just put the wheels straight before starting, took it off straight and installed it straight. Trackinfg normally may be off a bit
@@UnluckySully I mean after putting on a new steering wheel. Did you adjust the steering wheel to keep it straight? It's slightly bent in the picture.
@@mixonn_5961 nope kept it how it was, the tracking was out when I installed it and because the steering wheel is bigger than before it make it look like the tracking was out more

What's was the part number of the correct boss kit?
Hi man, if you search for: OH-196 thats the one I used, I got mine from Tegiwa but you can get them in other places as well

Not really no. Just making sure I don't drive like an idiot and hopefully I won't need it. Have been thinking about refurbishing the old out and putting it back though
I cant seem to get my horn to work any idea?
If you have a look at the horn button, there should be a metal wire which is the ground, you need to make sure that is touching the inside of the bosch kit otherwise the horn won't work👍👍
@@UnluckySully hi i have connected the horn wire onto the metal clip which is on the horn button but still no luck

I hope you disconnected the battery before unplugging that have seen airbags deploy when disconnecting them live very dangerous
