Volunteer brings Amphibious vehicle and boat, lets me ride along while doing water rescues. Video of family getting rescued. National Guard Deploying to help unresponsive resident stuck inside flooded town. Shots from drone as family and dogs being rescued are transferred from boat to National Guard high water truck. SOTS from inside Amphibious vehicle and interview with business owner that is supplying the vehicles and doing the rescues.
All the flooding is from the Northeast Cape Fear River which is expected to crest 5' above it's previous record.
This is best storm related video ever .. needs to be shown on evening news.

I just drove through there yesterday. The devastation is unbelievable. It’s also hard to believe that this area was flooded so badly just a few days before.
My house flooded on Christmas Morning at 12:30 a.m so I understand how these people feel . Hope you are doing well!

My heart breaks for those devastated. When you experience this kind of tragedy, it changes you. The people who are not moved by the images and video of such a event have never been affected by this kind a overwhelming emotional, financial, economic disability to a community. It hurts me when I talk to people who have no sense or empathy of this catastrophe and dismiss the magnitude of suffering taking place here.
Ive been through some serious ass hurricanes here in Florida and never evacuated for Charlie\Wilma\Irma and im not exactly moved by the emotions of the people affected. Im more or less looking at 9+ solid feet of water just standing around. It sucks but you better have home owners insurance like everyone else.

@@knightnrmer It weighs around 2500 lbs the tires are self inflating with an inboard compressor and it runs on a Cummings 4bt diesel that's installed after its shipped by the dealership in the USA

Sherp Is a definite need for every parish to invest in that is in hurricane, flooding situations this vehicle can be a great investment of all our tax paid dollars , for every parish to start to investing in this vehicle to help go in flooded areas and save so many life’s !! Thanks to this gentleman for be so kind and going to get that man’s family out and to dry safe grounds!!! God bless you and thanks for the use of this awesome life saving vehicle!!! My heart goes out to everyone whom lost everything. Homes flooded, vehicles everything everywhere that was affected god bless you , you all are in my prayers and much love is sent to each and everyone out there just know they are some of us that truly is worried and are praying for everyone and everything to get better as fast as all the great wonderful volunteers are working for everyone god bless them all and keep them all safe while rescuing all that needs there help !! Great video of kind people. Just wanted to point out, when disaster struck these people and they had to leave with just the clothes on their backs and the only thing saved is what you can carry..you seen for yourselves the only thing they took was a gun.
