    So the other day i was working on a suspension the bolts 22 mm where very tight so to crack them loose i locked the 22 mm spanner to a 24 mm spanner and did the two spanner trick then noticed a small dent deformation in the corner of the open end is thst normal for a quality tool if so are there less damaging methods to get more leverage on a combo spanner

      It's going to happen as the contact area between the two spanners is so small, the force will dent even a top-quality tool. to avoid it I suggest building one of these.

      @@JacoBadenhorst l see thanks I was considering getting rid of my gedore red set I bought as a back up spanner set due to that but i will keep it has this happened to you

      A lot of my tools have nicks and dings due to "mis-use". Just know it's your fault when it happens. Not the tool. I scrapped a gedore 8mm socket this week after prolonged use in a air impact driver installing roofing screws. Not a bad socket. Just me abusing it.

      @@JacoBadenhorst I would have used a speed wrench for such try it better than impact
