Thanks for the video. But what is the meaning of the "Rating" in the branch data record. What is the significance of that?

Mahi R. Rating (s) of transmission line is the capacity. It can be calculated S = Sqrt(3) V x I MVA
To know the loadings of transmission lines you have to enter rating in MVA/KVA.
In limit checking report option, you can also check the limit checking for all over loadings including percentages of whole transmission. Moreover, Rate A and Rate B option is very helpfull if you input the rating 80% and 100% respectively.
Remember PSSE consider the impedance of complete circuit transmission line length rather then per KM length

Hi Abdul,
congratulations for the training course on PSSE, I find it very useful.
A few days ago I started using PSSE student version but I have a problem. When I save a file of a single line diagram, then I close it and then I open it the software changes color to all objects (bus bar, generator, etc.) and I can not visualize and modify the electrical parameters of these objects. Can you help me?

You may be saving only sld file thats why your sld goes on pink color. In PSSE you have to save both .sld and .sav files. It is necessary to save .sav case data file because it contains the input parameters and all of your working to do modelling.
