    The family that came out and told the young man to "play" injured and "fake" like he's in pain is disgusting. Bad karma because it was probably the biker boy's fault.

      Spanish teacher here - retired. The sequence to learning any language, naturally, is listening for comprehension. Speaking comes next. Then that's followed by reading and writing if you pursue it in school, or if your parents teach reading & writing at home. Spanish was my native tongue; I've been speaking it since I uttered my first words. Luckily, I grew up in a home where we were forced to speak Spanish... we had no choice. My mom introduced us to English only when my dad was at work from a very young age, so my siblings and I all became bilingual before we entered Kindergarten. But when dad was home from work, we all switched to Spanish only. He expected it of us, and there was no escaping it. It wasn't that he didn't understand or communicate in English, he just preferred that we stay fluent in Spanish since we'd be speaking in English at school and didn't need to worry about that. I'm grateful to my pops for instilling in me the importance of language and culture. He kept us close to our traditions, and my mom supported that. But because of them both, I became bilingual... first through listening, then through speaking when I was old enough to speak. Studying Spanish in college and getting a degree in it was just like buttercreme frosting on a cake - delicious. My parents gave me a solid foundation... studying my native language in college broadened my horizons. Teaching it was fun, but like some have mentioned, even studying it for 4 years in high school - if you don't use it, you lose it. And Spanish is such a practical language, I encourage everyone to learn it, or for that matter, any second language. It makes for open-mindedness with other cultures. Just my two cents. Not trying to pontificate.

    Taking a tun slower or watching what is coming does nothing for the fact if a vehicle is blocking being able to see anything coming. So if there’s an obstruction to being able to see what’s coming down the street, how is a driver supposed to figure out if anything is coming? I guess just wait until a vehicle (or biker) passes in front of you. Though, who knows what’s coming next down the street. You can’t get further up ‘cause once you can see, then you’re in the way of people coming down the street. So I don’t understand that for him, the corner parker should’ve been charged for the accident. Meaning paying him back for what he has to pay her or at least getting ticketed. Corner parking is supposed to be illegal, but pretty much no one gets in trouble for doing it. This whole thing would’ve been easily avoided if that vehicle wasn’t in the way. So I don’t understand what she’s taking about with the blocking of visibility to see not being a factor and it’s just that driving needs to be slower, waiting to see what’s coming, and being more cautious is the answer to not getting in accident when the only way to see what’s coming is to drive and be enough in the street (which can cause an accident) or to wait to see what’s coming which would be only visible when they’re passing your intersection/exit.

    • @darksaber230
      @darksaber230 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      I think in this case he would need to go after the kids/ the family of the kids on the bike and they would have to pay for everything. The kids on the bike cause the guy to damage the woman’s parked car but didn’t do any damage themselves to the parked car, that’s why she had to go after the guy. The guy then will have to pay the lady. He then can go after the kids/the kids family and ask for payment to fix his vehicle and the money he had to pay the lady. For example if you manage to stop before hitting someone then someone hits you and forces you into the person. That person could sue you and win because you hit them and not the person who hit you. You could then sue the person who hit you for both the damages to your vehicle and the money you had to pay for the person you were pushed into. At least that’s what ugo said in one of his shorts.

    The insurance is the easiest thing to get that’s required for a vehicle. Call an insurance company, give them the required vehicle info, pay a fee if they require it, or just pay monthly/every 6 months. I don’t understand the bikers argument. The reaction according to them of one of the bikers is super sus. I just don’t understand how it’s not the corner parker’s fault to pay the guy back? This guy should pay her ‘cause he hit her vehicle. It’s just that it’s supposed to be illegal to park at a corner. The corner parker was an obstruction to the point that the lady, guy, and bikers couldn’t see each other. Plus, corner parking is supposed to be illegal. I’m tired of corner parkers. Even the ones that park on the corner exits of a shopping center or business which the exit isn’t at the end of a street. That’s still a corner and clearly blocking the view of drivers. When the exit of a business or shopping center has both corners block, people should always be on look out for someone exiting ‘cause you can’t see them and they can’t see you. So they have to out whenever they can assume it’s clear. At least, the guy should’ve tried to get the corner parker cited for being a clear obstruction. They might not have to pay for the damages, but they should’ve at least tried for having them cited.

    Judge was way off on this. When you have a multi vehicle accident, you assign the fault to 1. Like in a pile up. You don't make 50 lawsuits on each car involved, everyone makes 1 against the car at fault.

    This was a tough case because I can understand the defendant's side of this as well but ultimately the plaintiffs vehicle was damaged by him and for that reason should be held liable.

    Should have left the cousin at home because she lied. There is no way that the bikes were coming and in her way as she turned. Then she was able to drive to the end of the block and turn around and park and they aren't thru the intersection yet....They would have gone all the way thru before she got to the end of the block unless they were walking their bikes and even then maybe not enough time

    The cyclists had every right to be cycling down the road and he should have stopped and let them pass, before just pulling out and hitting them, he was in the wrong, right from the start and if he tries to sue the cyclists he will be in for a shock when he has to pay them for the damaged bike...
