Not in a "wow I've never heard this in my life" but a "I enjoy hearing this story bc they're not gonna believe you" kind of way.
Troubled doesn't always equal liar, but it tends to hold people who get trapped in these situations down to where they are never believed and can never get out. The fact she read those text and that was the ONE text he had saved talked about her reporting him if he doesn't pay. Just because she's threatening doesn't mean it's a lie, she more than likely wanted to be done with him. Normally the judge would push harder on where's the other texts, but blows off the plaintiff when the plaintiff says it's because he deleted them due to sending crude things. The plaintiff went and filed a police report, but that seemed to have been forgotten about. The whole "don't look at me, look at her, she's been in trouble before!" is such a common tactic by abusers that it's a shame the judge doesn't recognize it.
The outside audience is proof that there is this area where many get trapped bc they assume that they haven't been believed before so they won't be believed again, and when they take it to the civil courts which has a lower threshold of proof, when they're blown off, it just confirms no one would ever believe them in a criminal court.

I have been in a situation before doing healthcare work for a guy who really didnt need it and played the system he was in need of help due to a motorcycle accident but then ended up buying another one and told me not to say anything because he shouldnt be driving to begin with ...he would make uncomfortable comments to me and also sold his perks in exchange for Marijuana and then had the nerve to ask for sexual favors i immediately didnt come back and text him why i was leaving he denied all of this through text and messaged back my services wouldnt be needed due to my poor performance of daily housecleaning along with degrading me smh i took all this to the company and printed out the text i told them he needs mental help and is basically looking for a house wife . They absolutely did not care and told me i wasnt the only one that complained but appreciated my evidence the company only wanted money from his insurance .

I believe every word she said. Although her outburst was a little concerning, that trauma was the cause for that outburst.

Wow, the folks Harvey talked to. All three of them don't believe women. That is kind of interesting.

I believe her. She's gotta get some therapy. She should NOT be working with the public.

I believe her about the stolen phone and the doctored texts. That was just WAY too convenient for him to have just that one text in the middle!!!

The crowd comments about not believing people is the opposite of what I expected. Never rush to judgment!!
