nice guide. if you wanted to, you could use the flail special attack to cheese the dragon over and over by quick saving at the bonfire as the dragon is in the dying animation. you can kill it infinitely. could kill it quite a few times in that 30 minute window.
Great guide! Do you think you could share where the main points discussed here are on the map? I get dizzy trying to follow people's directions from where they run on the screen... Would really help with some markers on the map.

Theres a portal you can take that will take you to a grace just above tbe dragon. The portal is in that little incove of trees in the lake area by the flask church

If your lost at grave open the map and follow the path up and right, or just google third church of Marika. Make sure you have some ruins to up your strength prior so you can use the morning star... ngl this game is hard af I have died probably 20 times being naked with a club thanks for the insight lmaooo
@@Ra_guel it’s probably best to be taken to round table before you try this since it will trigger a cut scene. Just find another site of grace before you start killing the dragon
No but if you rush back to the site of grace you can time it to where he respawns but you still get the runes. See the other video I posted, I do exactly this.
No, it can work for any class, it's just an easy start as a Wretch. Samurai probably works the best since you'll need a bleed weapon to take down the dragon in a timely manner.
Apparently if you get bleed on it and rest at the grace right after it twitchs and before it dies you can farm him over and over. You'll get the runes once you load back from resting at the grace.

Not really. If it's anything like Bloodborne and DS1 (not played 2 and 3 yet) the game is designed this way, it gives you freedom to tackle it how you want and I think the point is on New Game +, when you've found out where things are, you can do stuff like this and figure out speed running routes.

my dragon won't take any damage it says like 48 damage and that but the bar won't go down
Make sure you’re using the morning star or a weapon that does bleed damage. After about 10-15 hits, it will bleed.

I went to the beach area to find the Pickled Fowl Foot or whatever it's called but it wasn't there....

You have to hit him on end of the tail. He has a ton of HP. You should see his HP bar above him when you're hitting him.

Rest at the Gatefeont Site of Grace and Melana will give you a ring. Use the ring and you’ll call your horse

Use a bleed weapon. Once the bleed procs, it will do 13k damage. Keep doing that and you’ll take him down in a few minutes.
What’s the point of lands between rune?
3,000 more runes, but to be honest, it doesn't really matter which starting gift you choose.

Yeah you must proc bleed. Two hand the Morning Star and keep hitting his tail until you proc the 13k damage on him, you’ll see it.

You should be able to use any armor in the game. Make sure you're checking on weapon stat requirements, maybe you mean a weapon you can't wield?
