I've never been a huge fan of blue grass music but this song is great due to the fact of good singing, live instruments on point and an awesome story line. PEACE!!! 🎵🎵🎤🎼💯

My Great Great Grandfather, by 1850, left Hampshire, West Virginia for Ohio, then went to Indiana and my Great Grandfather came to Illinois after serving in the Indiana Vols during the civil war. In 2000, I vacationed thru the area they lived and then spent 3 days on the Blue Ridge Parkway, and felt like I was 'home' all the time I was there.
I share their tunes with my friends on facebook.. I am no fan of country and western music but their bluegrass music and harmonizing and totally original style is a delight to watch.. I'm so glad that somebody is posting this work because they are a true blue pick me up talented crew .. they make you feel as good as they shine.. thanks for posting this .

Hi there Hillbilly Gipssies!! Don't know why but this song Always touches my heart. I'm from California originally but raised in Texas... but for some reason this song just touches my heart I just Love it so much. I've never been there but with God's good grace one day my wife and I will be there one day. Love your sound keep up the good work!!!!
Actually gramps family is from Penn where he was born. They moved to West Virginia n found no oil. Then they met a guy from Hi n they moved to Hawaii. They didn’t really need the drill cause there’s no oil in lava rocks.!!
