Well Dino you really sucked me in! Haha. Now im really interested in the rest of the videos! I love to ride my DR as well but it has never done that to me! Haha
Hey Dino! That was an adventure alright! You scared us riding into that time portal🤣🤯. The DR is amazing bike, so sad we only have the old ones over here. Would be nice if they would revive it over in Europe😁
@@JoeRadman glad you enjoyed it, I had a lot of fun with Dave and his crew making it. Don't forget to see the follow up on his channel willi456 boys. It's entertaining
I regret selling my dr650. I bought a 2013 650 husky/bmw rotax model. Im having fuel injection/spark problems and cant do shim valve checks. I recently road the dr I sold and it will smoke the husky. Im doing back to the dr asap, but going to put the $$ into the suspension upgrades. nice vid, dino and thanks for setting us straight
thanks for your content dino. its helped me out alot with maintenance on my 1999 dr650 i brought recently rebuilding the starter motor, changing my fork oil etc. love working on my bikes and tinkering out in my shed too. :)
Well said Dino and I'll add " Team Suzuki has forgotten more about motorcycles than most will ever know " !😁👍 No might or maybe about it the DR Six Five Zero is the greatest enduro ever built ....
@@DinosTinkerShed Thank you Dino as I love both those bikes plus the RM 250 .... That Dr 650 has simply stood the test of time from a marketing standpoint and Suzuki knocked the ball clear out of the park when they introduced it and still selling it today . Can you folks still order a DR650 up in Canada ?
Tomorrow I'm going to take mine on a 500 mile day, when your out of town on the open road in big sky country it is like nothing else. Good bike it just takes a while to sort them out.
I'll spell it out. You don't have to sell a kidney to buy 1. Parts are cheap and accessible . They are easy to fix and don't have all that tech rubbish that breaks down. Which leads me to the last , very dependable.
@aussiefarmer8741 you are so very right, also the bike is not impossible for the average person to fix themselves, great bike. Thanks for the input. Dino
Love it, funny surprise. Where you’re going you don’t need roads! After 2 minutes of intro I thought you don’t have much time left to talk about the title heading given the video was less than 5 minutes
cool vid...the dealers in eastern Canada are offering it for 7000.00 plus tax all in ...with a 3 year warranty. Gino...putting a build this winter on a new dr...the 22 KLR was getting 2 heavy for me.....any update on your tower....maybe even getting a copy of drawings....let me know? thanks. Garth
@radam7496 Thanks for the question, I use an Insta360 camera. It films every direction at once and you can choose you framing and panning later at the computer.
Hey. I know it was awhile back but you did a clutch rebuild kit video on your skidoo. I’m looking to do it on mine but having a hard time finding a kit. I have a 2007 skidoo 800 ho ptek. Thank you for any advice.
Mines a 2006 and I can’t find a replacement bike other than just buying a brand new DR650 and doing all of the same suspension and gas tank modifications to it. KTM has a better bike with the 690 but why invite the reliability problems I keep asking myself.
Hey Dino, love your videos ! Question for you: My DR650 has mild steering wobble at 10 to 25 mph (back and forth) but smooths out at higher speeds, what do you think is causing this problem?
@@denny5564 hey, glad you like the content. I'm not an expert but I know from personal experience that tires and tire wear can lead to some funny slow speed handling, check tire pressure often. Loose or worn headset bearings could also be a factor and you might want to feel them for play as you have someone rock the bike gently forward and back with the front brake locked. Wheel and fork alignment should also be checked loosen the front wheel and with it on the ground have some one help you by holding the bike upright while you re tighten the axle to spec. These are a few areas I would check first. Again thanks for the question Dino
