Nice video Dickie, I just read the other persons comment about Harleys in the US and thats where the DNA of these bikes come from. Long straight interstate highways, it would be a great mile muncher for those:)
@@WiltshireMan Hi Sandy.. Yep, your right.. New York to LA isn’t far short of 3000 miles…Hell of a road trip… The Himalayan’s would manage it no probs..😉👍

Hi Dickie, good video 👌 I had a Fxdci 2005 1450cc until last year and that was plenty enough torque, that was just like a giant sportster and handled pretty good, It would be interesting to hear the Enfield on a fly by run😎👍
@@DickieMintCycles you are right about the weight though, I really had to hold it around fast corners. And how can a company the size of Harley design such crap twin cam chain guides that break up🤷👍😎

Well, if you lived over here in the U S , youde know why they make 1800cc and bigger Harley Davidson engines. Power is needed on these highways, little enfields, wont cut it, people will say different but thats there opion.
@@paulsilson2148 Hi Paul.. The way the UK is going at the moment I think I’d like to 😄.. Get what your saying if you do big miles on a bagger type bike..That Dyna of mine doesn’t need to be almost 1600cc.. All it’s effectively doing is using more fuel and producing more heat over my Evo roadking which will cover big distance plus run at 80 mph quite happily..Lots of makes are now producing bigger engines ( Triumph Bonnie 1200! )Think general capacity increases may be to maintain decent power output whilst combating increasing legislation on emissions and stuff…Thanks for watching and supporting the channel Paul..Take care 👍
@@DickieMintCycles I was very happy over there with my Suzuki x7 250 2 stroke, my old bsa 250 and my Norton 350 single. So I know what your saying for those roads. And I understand what your saying about legislation over there right now. I could go into these corrupt politicians but I won't .
This chanel just gets better and better! Love the bike chat and everything in between, cheers.
Well done to you for sharing your knowledge and skills in a calm friendly way. I too like to ride a VARIETY of motorbike brands and styles. 😊😊😊
Hi Dickie,
Before you spend money on the front suspension kit take a look at old school ADV channel and his cheap mod using triumph springs.

Used to ride a Bonnie from the 60s, T120 pre unit, never had a lack of power. That enfield would look great with 10 inch apes.
