👋🏻👋🏻👍👍👍 too bad it rained but it looked like you really enjoyed yourself. ☔️☔️☔️. The route you took was very scenic, the villages so pretty. Maybe one day if you go back to the area you can video the 1397 pub and also Farleigh Castle it looked super interesting even in the rain lol. Thanks for taking us along and explaining wassailing very interesting 👍👍. Take care, stay safe and well. Judy🇨🇦🇨🇦
AHH several evenings I don't recall spent there on the rhubarb cider, Jay says to watch out for the Cheddar Valley, it's deceptively lethal. 🤣
@@restdayrider Hi Charlie..Yes, the Cheddar Valley 😵💫😆…As for that rhubarbie stuff , I did have a little slurp..Twas orrible 😄…My regards to Jay 👍
Nice video, Dickie. Bike looking good and so are you. Glad your back is better.
Thanks Andy 🙂👍
Hi Dickie, a nice video. respect for your camping!
@@JanSpijkerman Thanks, Jan 👍
Looks cold Dickie?
Toastie in my little tent 😄
Great video Dickie.
Thank you...Was a great weekend if not a bit wet 😄
Thank you Dickie, another great video. A few hungover campers around the next morning I guess, kind regards.
@@paullewis1566 And wet one’s 😄👍
In my early/mid teens I used to be fond of a bottle of cheap cider. Unfortunately after a particularly infamous and probably regrettable night out in my early twenties, drinking copious amounts of snake bite (cider lager50/50 mix) I pretty much scunnered (Scottish for put off for life) my self from the apple brew. Never mind there is always the grape or the grain. Slantie. 🥃 PS any chance of your self and and Sandy doing a Himalayan camp in the woods, or along the ridge way. Would be good craic.
@@Turnbull62 Think there’s something a-brew (excuse the pun) regarding a camp..We were only talking about it today ..I used to drink the cider all the time when I was a young man.. The doc told me to lay off of it as it was burning the old stomach…Plus after a good session your teeth feel like marshmallows…Thanks for watching us softie sassenach southerners 😄 Take care 👍
@ I’m only 5 miles over the Border, so considered a bit of a softie Southerner, my self, up here. 😂
A good video, thanks Dickie. I go to an evening bike meet at Tuckers on Thursdays in the summer. Jan
Thank you...I'll have to get down there then...Thanks for the heads up 😊👍
Hi Dickie, I am a new subscriber and really enjoying your video`s (also watch Wiltshire Man as well). We went to Tuckers Grave last September on the bikes, what a great place this is! We got there on the Friday afternoon and were in the pub for 4pm....needless to say, far too much Black Rat was drunk! Looking forward to going back this year. As I said, I am enjoying your video`s, keep it up!
Really appreciate you subscribing Andy....Thank you....Black Rat..That's Lethal stuff 😄 👍
I enjoyed that 🙂 Thank you for sharing. I remember going to a rally with a BIG FIRE and some dip stick run over it and burnt his Balls rofl. He ended up with very bad burns to his nuts/willy and ended up in Hospital. Ouch !!! lol
😄 Yep..I've seen some pretty weird stuff too....
The Stranglers used to frequent Tuckers Grave, during the recording of their Norfolk Coast album. They were so impressed by their regular visits there, that they wrote a song about it and included it on the album.
Yes, i did hear that...My mate Martin was sat having a beer and watching the rugby on TV with them in the Cafe/Bar just last year...I was supposed to be going down there myself that weekend but didn't make it..He made a point of ringing me just to pi** me off as they're one of my faves... They were recording just down the road apparently prior to their tour..
I’ve also been a fan of theirs since the age of 16; when they released No More Heroes. Fantastic band 👍🏻
Hi Dickie great video so very enjoyable and interesting and of course a lovely drop of cider that would be great if that was in the summer time hopefully you were all wrapped up warm and kept dry on the way home
Hi Craig...Going to visit again in the warmer weather.. I wasn't so dry by the time I'd got home ..😄

Hi Dickie, another great film thank you. Looked like a great craic with the music and some cider. Well done camping 🏕️ mate, still a bit cold 🥶 for me just yet. Definitely looked like a soggy ride home, well done and respect to you for camping, filming and taking us along. Thanks mate, all the best Chris. 🍻👍👍👍
My Kit has only just dried out properly Chris 😄👍
G'Day Dickie Well Done Mate. - All that cold wet slippery sh*tty mud made my old bones shudder in memory of the 'Best of British'. No doubt a bit of wassailing would ease the pain locally. Down here, 'SH*T' is normal kiwi-english usage and comes in every other sentence usually.

@@glynntipper9354 Thank you.. No probs… You reckon 😄👍
Top vid Dickie - and the pole repair worked👍. An event that’s worth me doing next year - thanks. . I’ve stayed a Tuckers Grave a few times - they have a regular bike meet during the summer and all sorts of things turn up, (including ETZ’s!) . Some of the live bands that play there are excellent. A great place but they do get booked up. I found it best to pitch in the lower NE corner to minimise the traffic noise. Hope to have a catch up with you and Sandy sometime this year. Cheers.
@@colinchapman8615 Thanks Colin…I’ll be back there in the summer definately..Perhaps we could all have a meet up and cider drinking weekend 🙂👍

O my god, this video is boring, are you even a biker considering the lack of energy?
😆😂 Yep I’m getting on a bit…And yep, I ride bikes Mr Panter…
I'm with you on the health, recovery, wellbeing and fitness issues of owning a Bike and the Ride, it lifts the spirit and moves the very Soul.. unless you'd an upbringing or you're a Biker, they'd never understand nor could you explain, it's a thing in your Blood.. the Brain, is the Head, the Mind.. was and had been doing me a power of good. Sadly for me, my Himalaya got stolen from welllit Morrisons car park, Cannock, afternoon Christmass Eve.. no News as yet to being seen/recovered.. I'd hate to think with the claim, what I'll get as Insurance payout when it comes to a 21 BS4 411.. given current retail prices. Take care, stay safe. Davey
Sorry to hear that regarding the bike..What an absolute crapper..Yes, the prices are down on the 411’s …There’s some nice used fully kitted bikes out there for sale.. So hopefully it’ll even itself out a little for you.. That’s assuming you’ll go for another 411 …Take care and looking forward to the decent weather 🙂👍

@@kammelryder Thank you .. 🙂👍
I stuck around because it's an EVO. EVO is the last line of the real HD. Always good to do a carb conversion. My late 90s has over 100k miles with OEM Keihin. I eliminated the front air. I flipped the springs, used 11oz of 30W fork oil in each leg, and this eliminated 75% of brake dive.
@@frankfurther3828 Thanks for sticking around 🙂 ..Yep, Harley definitely nailed it with the Evo motor..The bike is still going strong with no major issues..I’ve left mine comparatively stock apart from swapping the cam bearing out and sticking a second hand tour seat on it..
Wonderful video Dickie. 👍 Great Road King. I had a 2000 Road King Classic, that’s the bike I wish I hadn’t sold. My bikes brought me back as well after injuries. You did a solid job bringing those fork legs back to new. Here in coastal Norther California we fight corrosion and those front fork bottoms do take a beating with the humidity and bugs guts eating away at the finish.
@@pinkiewerewolf Thank you ..We’ve all got a story I guess…Glad you came through ok.. The Road-king is the most comfortable bike I’ve ever ridden.. Thats with the tour seat fitted may I add…Delight to ride as well ..Has got into the high speed rear end weaves on curves a couple of times but other than that a damn good bike..👍

Like all these guys and gals coming out of war with severe injuries, it’s important progress with things and people we enjoy. I myself am letting our situation here in the US get me down. I’m working on a CB400T, Hawk I with spoke wheels. It’s been thrashed. I may have to take the Honda badges off and put EBay. I’m learning. Thanks for the tips.
