Moog Slim Phatty & Arturia Beatstep. I've only just acquired the Beatstep, but I thought I'd do something quick and simple with it, using the Eventide Space for delay and reverb. - เพลง
Lovely sounds and a very nice sequence... Well done
I just love this. One of the best sounding demos of this little beast. :)
Thank you very much :)
As usual simple and beautiful.
Thank you.
Love your work!
Thanks, that's nice to know.
That was just outstanding !
Thank you.
Love the simplicity of the original BeatStep straight MIDI out to the monophonic Slim Phatty. The soundscape of the delay/reverb and the variety that you achieve in this jam are all very impressive! Awesome!
polyphonic*
Thank you very much.
simply but very very good
Thank you
Very, very good sounds and presentation. We would enjoy something that you really worked on if this is a sample . Nice!
This is really good!
Thank you.
Tu música siempre inspira! Gracias excelente canción!
Iván Braida Thank you very much, I am glad you think so.
...that was gorgeous.
Thank you.
I absolutely love this! So glad you posted this as it is very inspirational. Your use of these instruments is masterfully done! I like it the same way I like Kraftwerk and Mike Oldfield.
Thank you very much, that's a great compliment.
tremendous!
Thank you.
LOVE IT!
:)
Bob would be happy!
This is great. Now to check out the new version...

Really inspiring! Have just bought Arturia Beatstep myself and havnt had the time to read the manual yet(heh). Didnt know about that pattern store -thingy you did there! Thanx man.
+Jedi Mind Trix Thank you. I think the pattern store was the deal clincher for me, it's a great feature.
GREAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!
***** Thank you.
Very nice :)
Thank you.
nice
You know that you just convinced me to get a slim phatty over a MS-20 with those videos, right?
Awesome Berlin School style !!!
I subbed :-))
+Enorasis Project Thanks for your support.
DreamsOfWires :-))
Wow
Thanks.
Man i bought a voyager and 3 mother 32's and this sounds great 😂
I'd prefer the Voyager - more tweakable and better build quality, but I guess you get what you pay for with this stuff.
いいね!
有り難うございます。
Dreamsofwires this is awesome !! Well done . Could u explain how you done it please I have a little phatty could I hook Maschine up to it and use it in a similar way ? Thanks
+ronan morgan Thank you, I don't know anything about Maschine, but you just need a midi step sequencer that lets you save multiple patterns and recall them in real time.
very nice! what algorithm on the space has delay as well? or are you just using a tempo-synced pre-delay for the reverb?
Thank you, I can't remember though, it was some time ago.
Awesome I have the sub 37 and the beatstep but can't get it to sequence.. Any tips?
How are you connecting them, CV/Gate or MIDI? Both work for me, just plug and go. Maybe obvious, but have you got CV and Gate connections swapped? Also, default, Beatstep seems to put out 3 volts IIRC, and will add to whatever your last keypress on the Sub was, so maybe too high pitch? Much better with CV/Gate than MIDI once you get it working though, as you can transpose the seq from the Sub's keyboard
how are you sequencing the moog slim phatty? what inputs are you useing? great vid btw!
Thanks, I used Midi.
lovely ---is all the sound coming from that S phatty ?
sound polyphonic somehow
Thanks, yes it is, it's probably the delay and reverb making the notes sounds like they're crossing each other.
beatstep to subphatty?
Are you running the Beatstep through a laptop as a host before it connects back into the Slim Phatty?
No.
How did you get all the layers? I thought the beatstep could only do one sequence at a time.
There's only one layer, it's just the delay that allows the notes to overlap.
DreamsOfWires Ah. Thanks great job
Thank you very much.
@@DreamsOfWires that's very cool!
Thanks a lot.
