You clearly have kitchen skills and made four beautiful batches of cookies. Thanks for sharing your tests, Jhanelle! Well communicated, filmed, and edited!
I just made a batch like 10 minutes ago and I use the method that you were talking about in the beginning. Where you scoop and fill the cup and then level off with a knife and sometimes I add a little bit more flour because I have the same issue with a spreading so I stick it in the fridge at a time but I didn’t know that you’re supposed to just take the whole cup in the flour and then leveling off as it’s not suggested on Mary’s test kitchen website but now I know not to just use the scoop and pour in the cup and level off method, which is what I thought you were supposed to do so I hopefully this batch comes out good
Just found your channel and I really like it! Looking forward to more videos. Also the cut clip of the blindfolded person with the plop noise was funny :)
The dough must be much softer, almost like a thick batter. Similar to the dough that was messed up in the video lol. You'll need about a tablespoon of dough per cookie since it will spread quite a bit. The cookies will be soft once out of the oven but will become crispy as they cool. I've actually been testing out a thin and crispy CCC recipe. The first batch had the perfect texture but was a little greasy (from both the oil and chocolate chips). I'll modify the ratios and give you an update once I've got it.
Comment below which other dessert recipes you'd like me to test, or a popular recipe you want me to make vegan.
Compairing different methods really helps us to choose what's closer to what we're looking for. Really liked this idea

I liked the added explanations of what adding more flour, refrigerating, etc do. Fun video. Glad this popped up in my recommended :)

The Fly Vegan is the best chocolate chip cookie I've ever tasted. I was the try the one by sweet potato soul also.
An amazing video! Come back!
Thank you for this! I feel like failure with the Vedged Out one just shows how much better and consistent it is if you just weigh ingredients…
Yes! Weighing does help with consistency in baking.

How do we make a crispy chocolate chip cookie Tates style?

Omg I need more videos. Your so cute.
I wonder if you give rest time to the "Make It Dairy Free" cookie would it make a difference
I think it might. It would at least give the sugar some time to soften and flavour the flour. It wasn't a bad recipe at all.
Just make it dairy free. Was good. The up side was my kids wanted more and didn't want to wait tell the next day.
Mine are the best. Go to Comet Coffee in Ann Arbor Michigan. Or I’ll mail you some.
🙌
make it dairy free has new cookie recpie please compare that to
Thank You 🙏 🇺🇸❤️💕😀 for sharing the video God Bless You Freedom 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 of Worship Freedom 🇺🇸 Of Prayer 🙏 🙏🙏
Make it dairy free. Every time
Imitation vanilla comes from a beavers anus gland, so not vegan freindly- just FYI.
Thanks for these videos!
Imitation vanilla comes from wood, wood chips or sawdust. It's mostly vanillin.
