Fantastic breakdown! Very thorough, balanced, and thoughtful. Please ignore comments from overly sensitive people. I really appreciate your and Dominique's total honesty. You've saved me a lot of time and ingredients in trying out recipes!

I have found that some of the best baked good recipes come from veganizing nonvegan recipes. For instance, the best chocolate chip cookie recipe I've ever made (and people go nuts for) are called "Chocolate chip and chunk cookies" from Averie Cooks. Just sub with a flax egg and plant based butter. I go a step further than her and leave the dough for 3 days before baking- the flavor deepens, the texture changes. Preheat oven to 325, then roll into balls on parchment. Bake for 11-14 mns or so. The outsides caramelize and they are just perfect! If you prefer a thicker cookie, bake at the standard 350.

By the way I ❤ Sweet Simple Vegan, Liv B, & Pick Up Lime. You didn’t have to be so rude. Maybe it you that don’t have taste or it maybe how you recreate it.

Thank you for your comment, I certainly didn't mean to have anything come across as rude. At the beginning of the video I said that these are just our personal opinions and might be different from others'. And I also detailed the steps I took to try to recreate them all accurately but noted that error is always possible. But I also won't be dishonest about what I think, because that's the whole point of the video.

It’s not rude to give your honest opinion. They made every effort to be gracious.

She wasn't rude in the least. You're just ultra sensitive. These TH-camrs you mentioned have all been on YT over 8 years and have over 200k subs. They have heard everything by now; I promise you they don't have time or energy to conjure up a tempest in a teapot. Nobody survives that long & builds a fanbase like that by getting offended over someone's opinion about one recipe they did years ago. I greatly appreciate Steph and Dominique's complete honesty. This video would be doing viewers a disservice and also be boring if they were candy-coating their true opinions to spare someone's feelings. Maybe you need to do some soul searching to figure out why a fair, thoughtful critique injures you so deeply.
