  • I built a new octagonal tackhead banjo and I'm happy with how it turned out!
If you wanna learn more DIY banjo stuff, I highly recommend checking out ‪@CliftonHicksbanjo‬'s channel! I've learned a whole lot about banjo building and playing by watching his videos!
    Thanks bye! ❤️

Really nice tone like rain drops in the sunshine. That end piece is great.

I admire your crafting skills, and I really appreciate your "make do" approach! There's no flashy equipment, no clinical studio setup or any other sort of showing off! You build great instruments and you are very modest about your achievements. Top marks for your banjo playing!

That's one way to do it! Crude, yet effective! Well done!

    I want to learn banjo...

You inspired me. You showed me how you can do this in your apartment with inexpensive tools. Now I've started renovating old instruments and building new ones on the kitchen table (and balcony, and the apartment complex's small common workshop). It's a great hobby and I can also make a little money. 😅

I'm generally not a fan of banjos because they usually sound shrill and twangy. However, I appreciate the craft that goes into making and playing them. Plus, yours sounds great and has a nice mellow sound.

It looks nice and swampy :)

I like your rustic style of the banjo build. It’s makes it look very antique.

Awesome! Simple build with what you have and you play sooo nice.

Absolutely terrible and extremely punk. I love it. Can’t wait to try making my own. Thank you for your inspiring video and lovely playing 🙏

I've noticed that trash boxsprings are often made of pretty damn decent quality spruce. They can be a hassle to break down but it's good stock for guitar braces.
