I think I could just watch videos of Clay cleaning dirty tools with tub-o-towels. Very satisfying.
Damn clay is a genius he be saying shit off the top of his head and these big corporations just taking notes making money off his ideas
My dads starter on his dump truck has been held on with Irwin vis-grips for 18 years now lol snap on cant beat irwin on that.
Vise Grip Brand Are The Best And We Have Over 350 Pairs Of Them In About Every Design They Make!! Also Those Sanding Disks Are Pretty Good For Certain Uses But They Don't Hold Up Long At All, In The Body Shop Bizdnuss LOL
I absolutely hate Snap on vice grips. It is one of the few complaints when it comes to Snap-On is their vice grips.
I use Irwin and Facom and both brands hold up well.
I told my kids when I die, dig a hole roughly the size of my ‘66 mustang, when they asked why I says “cuz y’all gonna wreck it and I wanna do some burnouts up in the sky”
On the topic of vintage snapon stuff ive got a couple of the plastic beer steins from 1984 with the barely dressed women on cars and stuff pretty neat previous dealer gave them to my dads dad
There are amazing cars from the 90s and 2000s you fools!
70 Pontia Le Mans convertible, man oh man do I miss that ol car!
My tub I towels work awesome, including a fishing trip recently. Makes your hands smell great. No ugly bait smell. And keeps your fishing gear clean too.
I actually bought some because of you talking about them so much and I was amazed at how well they really do clean. I tried them on my hands and they work ok i dont like the sticky kind of feeling left behind but I don't think that's what they are for. but on tools and surfaces it just cleans them spotless and leaves no sticky feeling behind. Those tub o towels really do work. I bought them on Amazon. Worth it.
Lmfao he said pig mat 🤣 man ever time I say that word all my Co workers look at me like I'm from a alien world
Those tub o towels are amazing life changing
I'm a believer, definitely gonna get some for the shop, thanks guys
This is the only way I clean my tools, nothing beats it
1st comment ! ITS FINALLY SNAP ON FRIDAY!
And it’s over 30 minutes !? This is fixin to be a dang good video!
Hamilton needs to use Tub-O-Towels on his hat!!! LOL!!!
Hmmm. They say you can uses tub o towels on carpet.. Come on Hamilton, take the challenge...
Boy it’s hotter than 2 squirrels playin in a wool sock in fla! Happy Friday! 🇺🇸
Its hotter than the devils buttcrack here in Texas to
Its hotter than a hoochie coochie out here in Cali
It’s hotter than a whores door on nickel night😂
"Hotter than a frying pan" "hotter than a $5 pistol"
2 weeks ago it was 111 here in NorCal....
Finally been waiting for this video for 1 week. Love from the UK addicted to your vids now.
Snap on hand towels work pretty great as well I’ve figured out
Man the conversations you to have are the best.
The Knipex mini bold cutters are one of those tools you don't think you need until you own them.
The 10" 250mm are my favourite and choose the one with the starter notch.
I use those flap discs at work every so often. Fits my four inch DeWalt grinder. I use it to grind welds down and for panel fitment issues. We call them tiger paws
Been using the gojo towels they work good to started with Snapon brand and latest is tub o towels like them all but for them money tub o towels for sure
I wish I had all the cars from my teens and 20s and they were always super clean inside and out just like my tools.🔧🔧🔧🔧
It’s great watching your videos good to see the difference in snap-on tool dealers what they hold on there vans and your dealers hold all different brands where our dealers on this side of the pond only do snap-on .
I use the plastic bristle wheels a lot at work, their great for cleaning off the old body sealer on panel joints when a new panel has been fitted also for cleaning off flaking paint & loose rust. they dont wear the metal away like abrasive discs. We also use the scotchbrite discs.
That hub scrub is awesome idk why i didnt get it a while back I actually just used it yesterday
Clay, take your son to a few car shows, and then to a drag strip, and watch how fast he starts loving "old" cars.
The brand of flap discs ABN makes some great tools as well. I have a 6 pc ratcheting wire crimpers from them and it is the best wire crimpers I have used. It has the interchanging jaws.
35 year mechanic and I use tub o towels daily. Clean your tools, your hands and even your face with them.
Love snap on Fridays
Great video y'all have a great weekend and stay safe 👍
Tub o towels makes hand cleaner and upholstery cleaner
Nice to see the tools getting cleaned I ain’t the only one! I do Hvac not as much grease but the get dirty but I use the blue monsters on mine! Great video as always keep em comin
My brother had an Eagle Talon. It was cool. I don’t care what any kid says. Lol. That thing was some fast.
Clay I would love to take that 3rd gen off your hands👍🏽
When I finally decide to sell it there’s plenty wanting it ! Haha
I use those flap discs on my 4 1/2 inch grinder all the time. Never had a supplier for the roloc versions
If I wasn’t half a sleep I would’ve realized your using 4.5”. I haven’t looked for that size. The smaller works great in my 12V RT angle Milwaukee die grinder.
I love my classic cars. I still have my 1st car. Got it 99. It's a 73 Camaro, small block 406, 411s, posi, roll cage, it's more strip than street now.
I bought 2 tubs of the Tub O Towels and lemme tell you they are the bomb!
if you need a 24mm socket like the O2's what you need is a nox/soot sensor socket. Lisle 12290, Sp Tools 15500 or Matco MST15500, tho the matco is just the SP tool set, Reall g good I prefer it over the Lisle kit.
You got me hooked on them tub o towels
Those flap disks look AWESOMEEEEE, I need to get me some of them!
Tub O Towel does a fine job cleaning your tools, leaves your face feeling deep cleaned & moisturized, & also works great as a substitute to baby wipes :-p
I talk about this every Friday at work lol
I always keep a tub of towels in my car anytime I work on anything play Work X1 for 20 minutes permanent marker even have used them to clean the inside of the car crazy how good they work
Tub o towels even has a hand cleaner in a jug that I found while searching the rags on Amazon
tub o towels are my everything, cleans tools and hands...
Loctite Sf7070 spray cleaner nice citrus smell love the cleaning power of it
Tub of towels are awesome I finally got my work to buy those instead of the gojo citrus wipes
The green and yellow brush are good for cleaning rtv off i use them all the time
I love my tub o’ towels. They’re big wipes and clean my tools easily
Just Amazon'ed some Tub O Towls...looking forward to polishing my dirty tools.
Tuff stuff and a shop rag clean off my tools like brand new
Down to earth easy going vendor, I would buy tools from him if he was in Los Angeles...
I use 3" Roloc on 2" arbor comes in handy to clean wheel pads on trailer hubs aluminum wheels on steel hubs since the pads on hub are under wheel studs
Yeah that's how it's been the past few days here in san antonio. Just like someone is breathing right on you all over you lol
Brake clean and a rag works good to lol
Rough on comfort grips. It will break them down eventually
I bought those plastic wheel for my cordless sander and it works wonders for cleaning water pump surfaces! I love that thing! Just hate the color (neon volt) but they didn’t have a red one /:
I Just Sold A 90 Model Full Size Bronco XLT In Good Shape With 5.0 Automatic Overdrive And All Power Options With 126000 Original Miles. It Needed A New Fuel Pump And It Had 4 New Tires With The Factory Aluminum Wheels, But I Didn't Want it No Longer And Let It Go For $1,250 Cash
FRIIIIIII DAYYYYYY
Been waiting all week for this
I use tub O towels because of you ! Good for your hands too.
Right off the bat, the first time I used the upgraded pliers and screwdriver sets with those miserable red or orange handles I couldn't wait to get back on the truck the next week and chew out the Snap=-On dealer.....and maybe get me traded in tools back! He calmed me down and showed me his quick trick, which is to use a squirt of WD-40 and a clean rag....and it worked fantastic! Now I keep a can of the old WD in everyplace I have tools. Thanks Clay, this is yet another great MotorMouth radio topic for us to "borrow" from you guys.
Try the tub o towels you will like them better
We use those purple clean and strip disks a lot in body shops
Those flats are all we use. Never seen those rubber ones
I have that landing gear socket wrench and it works like a charm! They work best on a 767
I have a thing of Tub O' Towels on my tool cart, use them to wipe my tools off now.You got me to use them and believed you.The rolac discs do have a drawback, take off too much material off at a fast rate on a diegrinder for gasket removal.GM had this problem big time and put out a TSB out not to use them. They were replacing engines from use of them. The little pieces of aluminum oxide got in the oil causing engine failure
At my dealership we would have been walked to the door if we used them.
I have done so many head jobs where I use the white rolac discs to do head jobs for lifters. Never had one problem. Clean the head and block with them on GM's, especially 5.3's. I don't see a problem with them at all as long as you keep a slower speed.
Not an approved way to remove gasket material using the plastic and abrasive versions.GM put that TSB out in 2001 not to use them
Those yellow and white brushed are awesome. Use them every time I'm cleaning up intakes, valve covers pans and exhaust manifolds. People say they scratch aluminum too much but I have never had an issue using the white ones and I use them a ton.
Was thinking the EXACT same thing today: There needs to be a Tub O Towels juice bottle so that we can spray things and scrub them with a toothbrush, and so on.
Purple power?
@@andybub45 hey, hey, we don't need any purple supremacists around here. Like Barney. But yeah! I use purple power in my reefer condensers so they can maintain their air flow! Never thought about if it's similar to Tub-o-Towels juice.
I'm working on a 75 olds cutlass right now look about the same as my first car a 77 malibu we can figure out where to hook up the scan tool :)
The aircraft wrench is spendy, but check the prices for beryllium copper tools for working on MRI machines.
Cost about as much as that 100th anniversary 1/4 snap on set🤣
Love my knipex!! I’m not a mechanic just a millwrite 🤷🏼♂️
Thank Goodness my local Napa has recently started selling Tub O Towels. Thanks Clay.
Tub-o-towels have their place in the shop for sure when it comes to cleaning tools but when it comes to hands being cleaned… Joes Hand Cleaner.
Local dealership was using the roloc discs for cleaning up cylinder heads and blocks on subarus
Long story short I bought alot of mechanic special subarus over the course of about a year, and most of them came with a fresh invoice from said dealership for cylinder head gasket jobs within 10k miles, and they all needed new short blocks 😆
I later heard they stopped using those because of the TSB about the roloc discs, and if you didn't know there's a TSB about them, look into it
TUBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOO TOWELS
Man im not even that old and i can respect the 90s Camaros! how can you say no to a freaking Camaro!!
4”. Flap jaks. 👍👍👍🎉🎉☃️☃️☃️. 14 $. -4.
Uline makes a purple degreaser in a gallon jug and it cost 6 bucks and it’s amazing
I just got myself a tub of those towels! Love them!! Should of listened to you a long time ago!!!
Clay, keep it up, you'll be on commission with Hamilton soon. Gonna sell everything to your brother. Lol
Tub o towels best in the biz!!
As long as he used the towel on the exhaust pipe and not the paint! Guaranteed scratched on the paint if used on the truck itself! Gotta love keeping tools clean, represents what type of person you are for sure!
They won’t hurt the paint. I wipe my tool box down with them all the time. I’ve cleaned bird droppings off my cars and trucks. Cleaned the plastic mirror covers, inside the gas doors. They don’t damage paint because they are super soft they don’t cheat and use that rough side bull crap to make you think they work better than they do. Both sides are as soft as a baby wipe
Part number on the long pliers please. love your channel keep up!!!
I can check next week
Thanks your the best. Have a good weekend
Bro...I miss my 1991 camaro it was lipstick red. I still shed a 😢. When me my wife married my father in-law bought my an 89 camaro but wasn't the same. Swaped it for washer and dryer for my new home.
Finally Friday!
I'm a diagnostic tech by trade and my tools go back in my box clean. I mean I use my tools as intended just want them clean.
Swarfega towels is good too
A coworker bought a corvette so I told him I'ld buy lunch (Luther's drive-thru BBQ).
Mule head towels are the best hands down!
I’ve tried those too. I think I’ve tried about every brand on the market and nothing cuts grease like tub o towels
Clay, I just bought the 24mm sensor crows foot for the particulate matter sensors. Had to have Matco order it. Snap on doesn’t carry it. Matco #. TG15510. $51.03
No alleged assault and battery stories this week....damn
😂😂😂
Pretty sure there is a certain red spray bottle that would clean that Milwaukee ratchet up to brand new....
The yell is for aluminum and the green is for steel
Wow never seen those I need to get an order of those for myself.
Back when I was in high school I kept stealing the keys to my dads 70 chevelle which he eventually gave it to me, then once I got that I tried to steal the keys to his 69c10 muscle truck. That one wasn’t going out of his hands. Then for a first car I’ve always wanted a 87 monte, or a Camaro with a TBI 350 which I know the motors are starved for power but still cool. Back when I used to work at a garage a buddy had a 95 z28 it was sharp and with a t56 in it. Always black marks everywhere
Them zirconia flap wheels are really good quality.
Lol meanwhile I work on classic cars alot since the shop i work at specializes in that 🙃
Hamilton is getting close to Wally in the canoe dirty tool syndrome!!!
Plain old baby wipes work at least 90% as well as tub o towels do
I use Frontier Super Penetrant to clean my tools and it works great.
