@@jayinla81I am selling a 50 year snap on lifer’s set now for my mother in law.
After research - Selling by set and pieces. You cannot sell it as just one lot. Every person has their own needs and if they can afford to buy an entire person’s haul they want to build their own set.
What has surprised me is how easy the snap on stuff sells. The mactools/matco/icon etc tools sit with way less interest.
It takes allot of time - I spend an hour or two every night - research item price and set and note series/sku etc. clean and take photos. Write the listing and post online. 30 items will sell an average of one item a day.
Can generally get half or bit more for non specialized tools. The metric will go for more as there is more demand for it.
Sometimes you get a local guy - like this video and their upgrading from their craftsman or something and they have money and know what they want - they buy half of what I have listed.
I have gone down a bit of a rabbit hole on this and I think there is a growing qty of used snap on as there is just a very high amount of older skilled trades people retiring right now.

Moved to a new shop and route, guy has almost nothing, but my Matco and MAC dealer are stocked and super helpful on those "ooh shiny" kinda things, if it isn't made by the parent company they cut good deals to where I don't go to Amazon or Ebay for that $5-10 less price, love that shit.

You definitely don’t nee do snap-on and I used to bash snap on for price gouging but after 15 years I’ve realized snap-on caters to mechanic somthing as simple making thin impact and having a wide range of specialty tools is what sold me that they are definitely needed in the industry no matter how expensive lol

People can talk all they want to but quality tools really help. I'm dealing with cheap tools right now and swapping out for snapon. Snapon wrenches and sockets

I wonder the total value of that Snap-On truck is. I used to see tool trucks when I was a teen working with my brother at a body shop, but it has been 25+ years seen I have stepped foot in a tool truck. Now a-days maybe if there was a Harbor Freight tool truck I would be able to shop there but never at Snap-On. Just out of my paygrade. Thanks for sharing this, it was really cool to see inside a truck.
If you can afford to shop on a truck then you should. You prob worked your butt off in life and now you are successful. Don't let any trolls on the internet get to you man. Enjoy yourself.

Hey Cam...I've had the snap on impacts guns 🔫 and I use them in the field alot and they last way longer then the shitty Milwaukee battery's ...I've had them 2 years I'd recommend to get '(just clips kit ) for the end of the envil they wear out and sockets fall of cause that's all I've ever replaced

What do you mean no leaf blowers? I got my snap on leafblower like 4 months ago? Use it all the time to blow out the shop floor and equipment in the field. Just wish i got a bit more battery life before it overheats them, and it starts flashing. After about 20/30mins it's cool enough to keep going.

Thank you to everyone who buys snap on. It’s a premium price. But it made with premium equipment and it feeds people’s family’s in the US. I know harbor freight is cheaper but chinas making the profit 😂

My dealer has like 3 ratchets, 5 pliers, a set of stubby wrenches with one missing, and a couple sets of sockets in foam. I couldn't control myself on that truck, the only thing keeping my impulses at bay is the fact that I have to order anything that I want.

I have a video of my tow truck guy's high torque being wobbly. But if you look at the new 2967-20, just released, the battery area is now isolated.
To be fair, it usually takes a few years for that to get so loose. Still sucks

Mueller nut cups suck, however. The plastic gets brittle quick and the magnets aren't the strongest... eventually they hit the floor and split in half.
