My wife said once "you're not even a mechanic why do you need Snap On tools" and I said "you're not twenty years old so why do you need to color your hair". That was a cold ass couple of weeks sleeping in the shed.
Gave you plenty of time to think up plans on a much better man cave though!
You crawled so we all could run…thank you sir 😢😂😂😂
You're not wrong though
Bud you never said that. And let's be honest you have a 100$ waterloo box and a set of master craft sockets that you used once to tighten your 2007 Toyota yaris's head light bolt
@@JIndoUnknown someone is projecting
That's one very well stocked truck, could only wish my dealer was.
carl, dean and cole in our area are amazing. We're very lucky for sure.
I would sell my left nut just to have a heavy-duty dealer in my area.
I know right I wish my snap on guy was this loaded
I was thinking the same thing
I was thinking exactly the same I have to wait a couple months for a swivel 3/8 ratchet
I used to ask prices on the trucks but now I just get what makes me feel happy. It makes the job so much more enjoyable.
I dream of this sort of financial freedom.
@@tonydorsey11b Don't get me wrong, I spend every last dollar I make on tools. I would rather not buy a fancy truck or new toolbox now in order to save my hands and wrists later. Also, I always clean every tool after a job to make sure I don't loose something.
@@tonydorsey11bweekly truck payments make it easy even when you're poor like me lol
@@DownHillgamerI pay $150/week and I feel like I’m drowning 😭 how do I get over the balance hanging over my head
@@almightyracingtime. It's going to be OK, I'm in debt too. Its a huge weight to carry, but now I paid off one truck and the next is in my sights. There's light at the end of the very long tunnel, I promise.
I still can’t get over how loaded this truck is!
I was a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for 45 years, 1977-2022 and purchased only Snap On the whole time, owning almost everything they made, my wife used to ask me "when will you have everything Snap On makes ? " I said never, they keep coming out with must have's every month ! Going on the truck was the highlight of my week !
That is the best stocked truck I have ever seen, I had 10 or so dealers during my career all with nothing close to his inventory.
I always wonder. Someone like you. What do you do with all those tools after retiring?
Especially high quality tools.
@@jayinla81Can't speak for everyone but Ill see some tool sales on maketplace sometimes. They probably get passed down for the most part though
@@jayinla81I am selling a 50 year snap on lifer’s set now for my mother in law.
After research - Selling by set and pieces. You cannot sell it as just one lot. Every person has their own needs and if they can afford to buy an entire person’s haul they want to build their own set.
What has surprised me is how easy the snap on stuff sells. The mactools/matco/icon etc tools sit with way less interest.
It takes allot of time - I spend an hour or two every night - research item price and set and note series/sku etc. clean and take photos. Write the listing and post online. 30 items will sell an average of one item a day.
Can generally get half or bit more for non specialized tools. The metric will go for more as there is more demand for it.
Sometimes you get a local guy - like this video and their upgrading from their craftsman or something and they have money and know what they want - they buy half of what I have listed.
I have gone down a bit of a rabbit hole on this and I think there is a growing qty of used snap on as there is just a very high amount of older skilled trades people retiring right now.
@@jayinla81there’s a lot of high quality tools I use that once belonged to my grandfather soo… his great grand children should he set
Carl is one of the best snap on dealers I’ve seen in a long time, well stocked and great attitude! As well as very knowledgeable about the products he sells and his customers, you never see this kind of dealer anymore sadly. He is what snap on needs more of. And btw Cam we’re gonna need a tour of that new rig, looks like a really nice freightliner M2. Huge upgrade, congrats!
My old Snap-on guy never pushed boxes on young guys. He kept a line of good quality, economy priced carts to get started. He always pushed the everyday tools, not the latest greatest stuff. He was always looking out for his customers, making sure they bought the tools that would make them money. That's a well stocked truck and a great sales guy.
My snap-on guy has talked me out of a few purchases lol
I enjoy spending money vicariously through Cam.
Those little 3/8 snap on guns are phenomenal. I work in mining heavy diesel in Australia and it’s the only snap on electric tool I run. It’s absolutely phenomenal, it’s tiny, powerful, and the magnetic boot is insanely useful. I rate it BIG time
This Snap on dealer is very knowledgeable about his product !
I respect that !
6:50 look at all those 3/8 ratchets 😍😍
I'm a firm believer in the right tool for the right job, and quality overrides price. The way your dealer helped you and was knowledgeable shows his professionalism.
“The more I talk about the more I convince myself” the truest statement ever when it comes to buying tools
My favorite thing he said was "Dont buy the box first, you're not going to make the money. The tools will make the money!" I love it when people understand yes its nice to have the big fancy box but if you buy the quality tools and all that other stuff like the pliers etc you'll then be able to make the money and trade your cart in for the box!
Thanks for the red and grey snap on trick, will help me tell my standard pry bars from my metric pry bars
Quality tools literally put a smile on my face. Ive been cheesing this whole time. Good for you man. Im happy for you
That guy is WAY more stocked then my worthless snappy guy lol
we are very very lucky to have Carl, Dean and Cole as dealers in our area.
I thought the same thing lol. But not to my snapon guy but my mac driver has zero
@@bstamand1985 It took my 2 rep’s like 11 months to get those new needle nose pliers in, in green.
@@BadGoat92 I'm lucky. My driver is friends with other drivers across the country. He got me those and the new locking flex before they were officially released.
You must live pretty close to me haha carl comes to the shop I work at as well! @@TekamoHD
Love the vids they never disappoint and always teach me something new keep posting great content 👍🏻👍🏻
appreciate that Tim. Lots more episodes coming.
That dealer is stocked!
Out of the industry, but still have my green hard handled screwdrivers...1995 about $98.
I bought more hards and switched out the instincts.
For a go bag I now mix and match. 5/16 3/8 10mm 7/16 1/2 9/16 15mm etc. Saves weight,was a nice haul Cam!
That was heaven. Haven’t been on a snap on truck since moving to Australia. Great work 👍
That 3/8” impact is awesome, you won’t regret it. The ergonomics and the trigger is just perfect. It would be great to see a “real world” review of the 1/2” from you though. My 1/2” Milwaukee has been so solid I haven’t even looked into snap on. Not to mention adding an additional battery platform to the service truck makes me soft
Get that apprentice of yours on the truck, best to get em early! Im also and HD mechanic who had Carson as an apprentice. Tell him Shawn from the forklift shop says hi!
I always keep a 3/8 12 point metric set just in case. When removing a roller frame or steering motor on certain Cat machines they are needed, so good to have. Also when you don’t have the correct size tap socket they come in handy
Literally bought the 3/8” impact driver yesterday, did me so good today made the jobs so much easier
great video i enjoyed it keep these coming!!! great to see the tools the techs use and prefer
Thanks for taking one for the team brother! I’m buying the expensive tools vicariously through you! 😂😂 I liked, commented, subscribed. I hope that takes care of at least one socket! 💪🏼💪🏼
Our snap on guy will start to ignore you and not say what’s up if you don’t go on the truck every week and buy something 🤣
Most all of my tools are Snap-on, old dealer was stocked, if he didn't have the tool on the truck he sent one of his other guys to my shop the next day to deliver if they had it. Moved to a new shop and route, guy has almost nothing, but my Matco and MAC dealer are stocked and super helpful on those "ooh shiny" kinda things, if it isn't made by the parent company they cut good deals to where I don't go to Amazon or Ebay for that $5-10 less price, love that shit.
These videos make me want to own a snap on franchise. I missed the boat being a diesel mechanic, so selling amazing tools seems like the next best thing
I'm really interested in the Snap on power tools and also that huge new truck!
That truck is huge! I wonder how heavy it is. I’m guessing you spent $11306
I got similar. 11236 or 11206 depending on how he says it.
Forget the snap on truck when are we getting a tour of that beast Cam was rolling in
This dealer is way better than the dealers I’ve dealt with😂
love the Snap On truck tours! keep em coming!
We’ll do our best to get more
I’m actually kinda happy my dealer isn’t this stocked, if he was I don’t know if my wallet could take it 😂
I never been on a truck - I assumed their all like this honestly… BUT After reading the comments it seems many are NoT well stocked.
I wonder what SnapOn is doing to NOT incentivize their trucks to stocked more. Seems like if you are stocked people will stay on and buy more.
That’s a good dealer. I been buying Snap-On since I was 18 and now 40. I love the quality
AWESOME!!! As a recovering Snap-On addict, (only because I have most everything I need) boy did this bring back fond memories! I have had many excursions like this and miss them dearly. What a fun video Cam! Looks like you added another truck? I hope we get a tour of it and then your fleet. Stay safe man! Thanks again for taking the time to make this.
hello from Aus 🇦🇺, always a good day when a episode comes out. keep doing what you’re doing!
Really hoping to get into my local union and start apprenticeship this spring. Ive done industrial machining working with komatsu and cat guys and I loved it, just not willing to do it for the shit pay. Came across Tekamo a couple months ago and im quite glad i did 👍
Love the tool trucks. Got a Snap on , a Cornwell, a MAC ,and a Matco trucks right by me..Great video guys..
thanks Terry. How do those dealers treat ya?
@@TekamoHD great. My MAC and Matco guys will let me come by after hour when I'm too busy to get on the truck
I agree that tools don't make the mechanic, but I will say my confidence has gone up as far as what I'm willing to tackle because I know I have the right tool to help me for the most part. I'm a year in on working on dump trucks but not new to working on vehicles.
Awesome video. Funny to listen to the dialogue. Every line the man says is trying to subtly take you into the danger zone with tools lol
I have to say I am very jealous. But, unfortunately I am not busy enough to get even close to anything like that. Im still rebuilding my entire collection bcuz of medical situation about 6yrs ago where I sold everything. Had no choice really. But, I really glad you are in a position to do it.
Yuh this is so dope, I finally got to go remote for work so im gonna pick up that small us general cart from harbor freight end of the week, so stoked!
Love the snap on tool truck vids
we'll try to get more
Glad to see your growing brother.. hello from the states!
New truck cam?? That’s sick, do you still have the ram? The fleet is growing fast congratulations brother
I heard cam at minute 2:24 say “I love the Hi-Viz” I’m a tool junkie myself. & I’m same way. Love my hi viz. can find it with ease. Love the videos
Snap on is awesome ..Might as well spend it before the end of the year! Less profit to report and if you have a whole truck to equip the best time to do it!
I got snap on tools slowly over 42 years at a cost of £30000 love to just go on a snap on van like you candy store for sure
I really miss having a Snappy dude with a truck anywhere near that stocked.
Awesome, are we getting a freighliner m2 tour soon ehh ehh ?? That is one very well stocked tool truck, nice to see, i have to drive 40 minutes to meet the closest one in my area, but that is really rural Alberta life. Keep b.c moving Cam, and great job on yhe videos Tekamo
The new truck looks fricken sweet
Cam rocking the Mueller-Kueps tshirt on the snap-on truck, keeping em' honest 😂
Auto student here, just got 18.5k of snap on stuff including a box so this was a nice watch
That’s great bro keep up the hard work 👍
As long as you keep those dam machines moving buy whatever tools you want brother much respect
im gonna watch all the videos!! love the content!!!
This truck is leaving me speachless.
I love those instinct handles I use the mini screwdrivers for sunroof trac screws and they are worth the money
This guy is an awesome Snap On Dealer! My local dealer doesn't even return my calls or text me back...
You definitely don’t nee do snap-on and I used to bash snap on for price gouging but after 15 years I’ve realized snap-on caters to mechanic somthing as simple making thin impact and having a wide range of specialty tools is what sold me that they are definitely needed in the industry no matter how expensive lol
@14:08 as a Journeyman Electrician, I felt that lmao hell yeah bro!
People can talk all they want to but quality tools really help. I'm dealing with cheap tools right now and swapping out for snapon. Snapon wrenches and sockets
That 3/8 snap on gun is soooooo nice.
I wonder the total value of that Snap-On truck is. I used to see tool trucks when I was a teen working with my brother at a body shop, but it has been 25+ years seen I have stepped foot in a tool truck. Now a-days maybe if there was a Harbor Freight tool truck I would be able to shop there but never at Snap-On. Just out of my paygrade. Thanks for sharing this, it was really cool to see inside a truck.
If you can afford to shop on a truck then you should. You prob worked your butt off in life and now you are successful. Don't let any trolls on the internet get to you man. Enjoy yourself.
Hey Cam...I've had the snap on impacts guns 🔫 and I use them in the field alot and they last way longer then the shitty Milwaukee battery's ...I've had them 2 years I'd recommend to get '(just clips kit ) for the end of the envil they wear out and sockets fall of cause that's all I've ever replaced
What do you mean no leaf blowers? I got my snap on leafblower like 4 months ago? Use it all the time to blow out the shop floor and equipment in the field. Just wish i got a bit more battery life before it overheats them, and it starts flashing. After about 20/30mins it's cool enough to keep going.
Need part 2 and a vid of it all on the truck
Man the SnapOn guys down here in Australia could learn a thing or 3 from Carl! Very jealous of the range and service you guys have access to there!!
Lmfaooo the impact socket fingers😂😂😂
The new snap on instinct handles can be covered in whatever for however long and they legitimately wipe off clean.
Still get chewed up
out of all 4 tool trucks. all i want & need is the snap on 1/2 c-tech flex-head digital angle T.W. & snap on 4 ton floor jack.
Nice Vid! (That Snap-On dude is on his Game)
You know it's bad when you see all the free stuff he got at the end. Also, what is Cams thoughts on the Mac tools RBRT wrenches and stuff in the heavy duty field?
I love the snapon 14.4 stuff.
That is the best tool truck I’ve ever seen
Thank you to everyone who buys snap on. It’s a premium price. But it made with premium equipment and it feeds people’s family’s in the US. I know harbor freight is cheaper but chinas making the profit 😂
My dealer has like 3 ratchets, 5 pliers, a set of stubby wrenches with one missing, and a couple sets of sockets in foam. I couldn't control myself on that truck, the only thing keeping my impulses at bay is the fact that I have to order anything that I want.
I'm glad im not the only one that goes give me the set, give me both.
Personal I switched to Milwaukee sockets they just fit better then the snap on ones. But snap on ratchets are the best in my opinion. But to all there own.
Yup..I run the milwaukee impact sockets on everything. The visibility on the impact sockets is great. and agree snap-on ratchets are sweet.
I seen that truck rolling down the highway towards me and I was like there’s another fucking contractor in town now. Then cam told me about it a couple days later and harassed me for not waving. Lol
hahahahaha
Effin sick beach towel
the pliers are really good
Finally another video!!
"6-point always" YES. Unless it's actually a 12 point fastener haha
My guy flexing on everyone here!!Awesome haul Cam 😎imma say 5-6k 😬 You can get those magnetic battery holders for Milwaukee batteries aswell in M12 and M18. Techs Choice i know has um. Great vid guys👍
Appreciate it John! Keep prayin’!!
With the 4 way wrenchs, what do you use more? Standard or Metric?
Homie dropping like 5gs easily for real lol I hope the channel is paying for this or your company. I bought all the shit out of pocket it sucks our company doesn’t do tool allowance but we do get really amazing per diem… this is epic the fact you have worked to be able to go shopping I want it I’ll buy it on snap on truck good for you Cam that’s badass
It was probably around 12g
5gs back in 88
I have a video of my tow truck guy's high torque being wobbly. But if you look at the new 2967-20, just released, the battery area is now isolated.
To be fair, it usually takes a few years for that to get so loose. Still sucks
I stopped asking price 30 years ago
Mueller nut cups suck, however. The plastic gets brittle quick and the magnets aren't the strongest... eventually they hit the floor and split in half.
Good Lord I miss getting to go on the Snap-On truck.
The snappy truck is very well stocked but i need to know what Cam's driving? When did he get that?
Cummins B series turning tool’s work in Deere 4045’s, and 6068’s.
Wow a properly stocked truck? I've never seen that before lol
I don't know why? But It feels like Xmas for me watching Cam go Ham on the Snaptruck. I dream of buying all the Snap-on tools. Cam is "Big pimpin spending ggggsssss :0
This is how my Snap-on dreams are.
I've been working at a fleet maintenance shop for 8 years and never had a tool truck stop by our shop... I've seen them stop by the surrounding automotive shops but not ours, no idea why 🤔
Cause ur mechanics prolly dont want to deal with them lol
11720 $ 😊
@21:50 Too high or too low? You're on a Snap-On truck, you're too low, you're always too low 😂
