@@sirgonzo5 ehhh I’m not entirely sure. Make sure you have good wrist turn when you’re playing, and try to relax as much as possible. You’ll get the most sound out of the drum if you relax. Maybe audition somewhere in world class this winter to get experience auditioning. No matter where you go, whether it’s Colts or somewhere else, you’ll learn a ton about how to play with good technique and how to just survive drum corps in general. Other than that, practice a lot, know the packet inside and out before going to camps, and I guess just be flexible.
