I've always thought as we mature as guitarist, all roads lead to acoustic and classical guitar. Your playing is inspirational. Thank you for sharing casino.
Nice and smooth the way Jazz should sound. I was listening to this recording yesterday while driving down the road thinking of my wife I lost 6 months ago to cancer.
WOW... this came up on TH-cam while I was working on something else (different tab) and I thought I was listening to the actual Acoustic Alchemy guitar players!
+SWH2012 Thank you for the kind comment. My compliments to Patrick James. It's an excellent tune with a great melody. I loved this version because of the break down in the middle and build up to the solo. RIP Nick Webb.
@@EricHansenGuitarist outstanding fill on that cover. I'm impressed 7 years later. It's a pleasure to hear your work! I've a cool song in progress if your still playing. I'm from Walnut Creek, Ca. Many musicians grew up here, must be the atmosphere. Dave Mathews with one T is headed back out with Santana on tour. Fantastic keyboards. Stef Burns, lead guitar. Looks like Huey Louis and the news has no singer, so Stef is playing his Mare Island gig next Month, coming in from Italy. Can't wait to hear that lead guitar to come back to life :-)
First time I was in Florida and just happened to find myself in front of the Colony Hotel where Eric was performing, I was blown away by the excitement and authenticity coming out of this mans fingers. 8 years later I still get that same feeling listening to his recordings. Just a fantastic musician and writer!
Thank you! I'd like to add more AA tracks but I'm lucky TH-cam has not removed this one. They are getting strict with cover tunes. Anyway, support Acoustic Alchemy and buy their music and maybe even mine too. :)
fingers, skill, technique, totally awesome. can't believe it. great selection too. my girlfriend and i heard you in Delray a few years ago.... wishing you great health & safe travels.
two of the best up close and personal shows i've ever seen. Eric downtown Delray Beach, live, 10 feet away. yep, those are real fingers playing, unbelievable talent. and Acoustic Alchemy at Jackrabbits/Jacksonville, Florida, again, 10 feet away, standing room only, packed, maybe 60 people packed in like sardines, all lovin beautiful music, talent. both shows perfect acoustics, perfect electronics, wow.
Big fan of Acoustic Alchemy. Your work is spot on. From the looks of some of your other artist renditions, seems you've Aced them as well. I'll be looking forward to listening to more! Thx Eric!
My wife and I saw you New Year's Eve sitting right across from where you were playing and I knew I had seen you before (I just thought it was in Fort Lauderdale/Las Olas rather than on this TH-cam video). Great show - thanks!
I first heard it on the Early Alchemy album but it was a different arrangement. Two guitars, upright bass and some percussion. This version is based on an updated arrangement Acoustic Alchemy did on the Natural Elements album released in 1988. Thanks for checking it out.
This iZ terrific! I listen to the Smooth Jazz channel to sleep at night, which iZ how I'm familiar with the original. And I went on your website...your rendition if Page's solo in "Stairway..." iZ dead on. Impressive. So I subscribed.😆you are very, very talented.
Eric! We both know Ben Woods of Córdoba. He’s my best girlfriend’s longtime boyfriend. We toured with Benise together... I play acoustic and electric violins. We need to collaborate soon! I think we would sound awesome together!!
Wonderful music I saw them play this a Pizza Express Soho London years ago now. Nice video but there does happen to be more Wonderful musicians in Acoustic Alchemy than the Guitar player. Shame on the makers to out show his magical fingers. Greg does rule. 😋
Nice work, do you have some tabs of this song ? I want so hard to play it but its so dificult to me to find the tabs on internet thank you ( sorry for my inglish im not frome us)
Sounding great Eric! I have a couple of questions if I may: What kind of pickup system you have on your guitar and what device are you using for your backing tracks?
Megalith I'm using the Carlos Juan Flamenco Doble pickup system. I'm an authorized dealer and installer for these systems. It's the best pickup I've ever used in my nylon string guitars. www.acousticpickupinstallations.com The tracks are played back on a Denon DN-F300. Since this video I've switched to a Fiio X3 for playing back tracks. A very nice sounding device for a reasonable price.
RomanStreetVideo Hi Roman. I'm using the Pendulum SPS1 preamp for the guitar and a Lexicon MX200 reverb. I have a FMR RNC1773 Compressor inserted into the channels of the SPS1.
+Eric Hansen , face the facts, your sound is from EXTREME TALENT, great skill, an excellent ear and fine composition. amazing. s florida folks are lucky to be able to hear you live and in person.
Gorgeous...an inspiration...

Wow. One of my favorite pieces and I've always wanted to see this performed - fascinating to see those complex sounds out of one guitar! Really great!
wonderful sound, but dual guitar
