Been listening to this song for like 35 years since my teenage days. There is something about bridge part that still gives me the goosebumps listening to it. In this version it is missing the saxophone, which is kind of integral to the song. But the piano kind of makes up for it.
I picked up a cd at a yard sale and on a whim I thought "it says jazz, and I love jazz, why not." it was Blue Chip. Have loved them ever since. Masters.
at 2:40, it looks like a g sharp. the bass at 4:20 is a paul reed. at 5:40 it looks like a gibson epiphone. all are guesses. not a player myself only a connosseur.
Great video!! Except for the ocassional J@ck@ss who stops in front of the camera. It's a shame that music today is so sampled, synched, processed and canned to the point, you don't need much talent to get recognized, you just need a gimmick. These guys are still fantastic after all these years. Thanks for the posting.
Heard the live version in concert in Portland, OR, and was so blown away by their musicianship and driving rhythm. Inspiring.
Live! And sound so good!!!!
Saw them live in Denver….simply transcending. Could listen forever
I've seen them live!!!!!!
Simply awesome
I was at this concert, it was great and free!
Did a lot of people know who they are?
