Forget about the nasty ones, they have a pathology, focus on the love between us all.

Thanks for coming! I was sorry to hear about the trolls, but bullies come in all shapes and sizes. I'm sure this will happen to me too. My aim is to block and ignore it (hopefully). Paul needs this break anyway, so he can focus on the next chapter of his life--a chapter he didn't even know was coming, so I'm the donations will help him get there. I have the feeling he'll be back. We all miss him. Thanks for your well wishes!

Hey there Francine! I came through Paul to your channel! Glad i did! You are a lovely person and your animals are so cute and precious! I am german and we v a social welfare state where healthcare costs are hardly anything and almost everything is covered by health insurance! Except dental care and glasses! It makes me so angry and upset that a rich state like USA isnt able to take care of its people better so they can afford decent health care! I wish u the best and hope u get enough money to afford what u need and hope u get your end of life medicine u want! Lots of love from Rike from Germany
Thank you for stopping by! The truth is the US CAN afford to take care of their own. They just don't. :( I am fortunate to have insurance at least even, if it doesn't cover everything. The real issue is not working many hours, and still paying the regular bills. It still gets done though!
Hi Francine, I’m so glad you didn’t become too overwhelmed with us ganging up on you! 😁 I see you live on the right side of the state whereas I’m near Pittsburgh. When my children were small, we were supposed to move to Lancaster but unfortunately their father’s job fell through. We were very disappointed because we both loved it there. I guess it wasn’t meant to be.
I love your animals! I’m a huge animal person..in fact I like them more than most people. My emotional support dog passed away not long ago and I am still devastated..I am looking for another in the near future. There is a growing movement in the UK at the moment - a famous childrens’ campaigner and tv star here has terminal lung cancer and she is campaigning for getting the law to change to end lives in dignity in the Uk. Her name is Ester Rantzen. Please look her up and join her campaign and I think you may get support in return - if only emotionally. I am glad Paul is supporting you - great man!

It was so nice to meet your pets. When I met my late husband, he had a poodle named Girlfriend..he named her that so that he didn’t feel like he had to have a girlfriend, he had 1 already. I didn’t let her stand in my way….Dave and I met in 2002, we got married in 2006, (that’s a funny story), he passed in 2017. In 2009, we still had Girlfriend, but a local puppy mill (I’m in SE WA State) was raided, over 400 American Eskimo’s from puppy to elderly adult ages, were rescued. I wanted to get 1, I named him Tekaani. I wanted to give him an Eskimo name…Tekaani in Eskimo means wolf, American Eskimo’s are in the wolf family. We had to put Girlfriend down due to her having cancer and she was not doing well. I convinced Dave, that if we put her down, she would have heaven figured out by the time he would get there. He passed 2 months later. Then when my mom died, she had 2 orange kitties, Zeus & Apollo. I couldn’t bare with the, losing her and needing to find them a new family when they already knew me. So I brought them to my house. Tekaani was fine with them, Zeus was fine with Tekaani from the get go, it took Apollo a little bit to warm up, but he did. I took Tekaani to the vet less than a week before Dave’s 1 year death anniversary and found out he had cancer too. I was not going to do treatments or meds because the first 3-5 years of his life were so bad at the puppy mill. The vet thought I’d have him for a year or slightly longer. Three days after I was told of his cancer, I had to put him down…..for the 2 days after coming home from the vet on Friday, he had so many seizures, I stopped counting at 10….as soon as the vet opened on Monday morning, I made an appointment for that afternoon, just 1 day before the 1st anniversary of losing Dave. I still have Zeus and Apollo.
Awww, so much loss :( You must be a strong lady with all that love looking over you now.

I learned of your channel through Paul in Perth. My college friend is battling ovarian cancer. 18 chemos and now a PARP inhibitor to prolong her life. I wish you strength and a pain free & peaceful journey. Look into the granisetron patch for nausea. Helped my mom when she was still alive and battling chemo nausea.

This year is 20 years since my dad passed and it was such an honour to go on his journey with him. It was rough but it was also amazing, watching how he handled his cancer and his dying was such an inspiration. He fought but he also accepted and I hear in you that acceptance and the ability to make choices for you that are right. Currently I am on a journey with my mom and her illness, while not cancer it is an end of life journey. Great to see your pets, dog person here too, but always space for the cats too. Take care and I look forward to watching more.

Hi Francine. Aww, so sorry that you had to rehome Iggy. My best friend and her husband just re homed their very hyper medium sized dog as She was soooo very hyper and so much work for him. They kept their German Shepherds. My furr baby is a tiny toy poodle Phoebe. She goes everywhere with me. I’ve got a Dr appt tomorrow and they want me to bring her, so tomorrow she gets to go to the Dr. with Mimi. Francine, you’re such a beautiful lady. I hate Cancer., and what it does to such amazing people. It breaks my heart. And it seems to affect each person so differently. When feeling down, hope your cats allow you to love on them and give you some peace.
Animals are truly God's gift to us!

What you shared about putting on your makeup and showing up resonated with me. I do talk about my grabdmom a lot, but that experience is the most intimate one I've had with losing someone to cancer.
I remember having some very profoundly meaningful discussions with her during her last few months. She shared with me that it sometimes became quite lonely knowing that she was terminal, but being surrounded by well-intentioned loved ones telling her how wonderful she looked. That put her into a place where she couldn't openly talk about her own fears and feelings without feeling that she was disappointing others.
For anyone who will face the death of a loved one (which is everyone), I'd highly suggest reading a book called "Final Gifts."

Paul mentioned you so I thought I'd look in. I wish you as well as you can be and I will check in to help when I can, as I can. I am a very low income person in my 80s. I'd certainly like to help both you and Paul out with a cup of whatever if I could, but like many elderly people living only on Social Security I just about make it each month with nothing left over. Not complaining. I do make it through the month and so far, so good. My problems don't amount to a hill of beans to those you and Paul face daily. I just tell you this so you know that I will support you by writing something in comments which someone said helps the algorithm or something.
I'm a pet person too but my last couple of cats have passed on and it isn't fair to have a dog or a cat at this advanced age. But I pet everyone else's dog when I'm out and about.
Now you know something about me and I will learn something about you. Good luck on the scans.

Francine, I have Gloria's brother here lol! He is grey and white and makes horrific messes with food and litter. He is a terrible house guest, especially since he was rescued from being dumped outside. I'm sending you love and huge hugs. I love, love, love animals and I'm so glad you get to see Iggy. Paul unfortunately has left social media. He didn’t say if he would be back.
I think that he will. He didn't expect to get a new lease on life or even an extended stay. I think he's organizing and focusing on the next chapter in his life. Sometimes YT can be a distraction.
