My cancer is terminal. My cancer journey leads to one place. I've chosen not to pursue any clinical trials. I'm opting for quality time over quantity.

My nephew has a dog that has grown up with me and she's now 7 so i do dread the day she goes as she's a huge part of my life. Animals mean so much as they just be themselves and are unpredictable....hope more videos are made and I can look forward to watching them as much as you look forward to spending time with the cats 😊

I found your channel via Paul’s suggestion. I am so saddened that he paused his channel for the obvious selfish reasons that I enjoy him and have felt connected to his journey. BUT I understand why he is taking a break. I feel like you (and many- probably most!) are vulnerable to the advice and criticism from people who watch and think they know what is best for you. They miss the point of it by creating background noise with what they think is best for you. Most people probably give advice out of caring but I read suggestions and think ‘doesn’t this person realize that you have already thought/considered what they are suggesting?’ Sadly, everyone on the internet is an expert. People should do their best to support your decisions and not second guess them!! You will rarely see a comment from me that goes beyond what I always say which is LOVE FROM OHIO 💞💞💞💞
I agree. I'm very sad. For whatever reason he's done this though, it might be time for a break so he can hit the reset button for the next chapter of his life. I think he'll come back stronger than ever. Thanks for coming btw :)
Deciding how you want to proceed with a terminal cancer diagnosis is individual. I support whatever you decide. I hope the coming days bring you much quality of life. PS your cats are awesome. Love from Wisconsin and hugs.❤

Taking control of your own treatment and your own path is so important and incredibly brave. Tough decisions to make but you know what is right for you and now that I have found your channel (thanks to Paul in Perth) I shall be on here to acknowledge your struggle and gain some valuable insight for my own life going forward. My sister has high grade uterine serous carcinoma, and she isn’t doing so well. She was diagnosed two years ago in June. I’m her primary caretaker. It bothers me that people really don’t understand how ill she is. If they saw her, they’d know, but since she moved down here on the southern coast of NC to be near me, she usually just talks to her friends over the phone. I wish the very best for you, and I’ll keep you in my prayers.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in July of 2023. I did surgery, chemo and radiation. I'm doing well, but often think about my cancer coming back. What would I do? I would rather spend what time I would have left without going through horrible treatment again. I say, there are things worse than death. I hope your last days are peaceful ones. God be with you 😇
The treatments (all of them) are awful. I'm glad you are doing well and hope you never have to make such a choice.

You don't owe anyone an explanation hun. It's your life and your decision as to what your going through. I would never talk to anyone or try to convince anyone what to do with their own life. Personally I would never do the death with dignity but I do believe that it is a great thing that we have the option to do it because I have watched 3 family members to cancer and the suffering they went through I would wish on anyone. And to be honest we are all dying from the day we are born and I am with you 100% on having a quality of life.

You need to do what’s best for you. Yes diabetes is a really nasty disease. My father died from end stage renal failure due to diabetes. He suffered a lot and I understand your concerns. Live the life you want to live. 🙏 ❤️ I enjoy your playful kitties!

❤🙏❤🙏❤🙏❤ Your cats are adorable and will stay close to you. I truly believe they sense you are sick. I agree with what you are doing. I am in my 60's and am in remission from breast cancer. If my cancer returned and they said that I was terminal, I do not think I would go through treatments again. These treatments leave you with on going issues like neuropathy, osteoporosis and I can't forget Lymphedema. My life today is filled with pain. I am grateful to be alive, but don't see me going through it again. You will be in my prayers. Hug those kitties. ❤🙏🌹✌😼🐈🐱🌺🙋❤
I totally agree with you about the sensitivity of cats, even though they act like they don't care LOL. They definitely exhibit behaviors that they are aware. I'm sorry you've had to go through that journey but glad you're in remission.

Francine you need to do what is right for you. When we get a pet,we know at some point in their life we are going to have to make a hard decision. We don't want them to suffer when it comes to a illness, so why wouldn't we want the same for ourselves? I agree with you 100%
I say that all the time Lisa! No one every says it's against God to kill your pet. Ugh.
This is YOUR life to live and YOUR decisions as to how live - whatever that means to YOU - at ANY moment, your life and decisions are YOURS and YOURS alone! Anyone who questions or marginalizes that in any way … may mean well, yet at the same time … is it what you need or deserve? I will interject - NO!
I try and remember wise words that were shared with me years ago … “what does that care/advice/concern look and feel like to YOU? Is their concern/advice/care helping support YOU to live the life you want to live? If not, let it go.” That always helps keep me on track when I am struggling with unsolicited advice, etc.
Please know that there are countless people who are supportive of you, as a human being with YOUR life.
And in reference to your statement, “I am dying.” Indeed, we are EACH dying, but few of us really accept that in any real or practical sense. If we did, our very lives would change every single day.
Take care of yourself. And may your kitties remind you - and all of us - to live in the moment - it’s all ANY of actually ever has. Kathleen

My dogs do same as soon as my phone rings there start!! I get it u can look fab n wear make up n smile but at end of day inside ur body could have more cancer cells than normal cells. Also only u know how u feel n any feelings are valid xxx

Hi Francine! I realize this is a very serious video, but I could not help but really laugh at your kitties! They are so funny and wonderful. Very long story but I had 8 indoor cats with my narcissistic ex husband, and I had no choice but to leave him and my kitties as well. I adored them and it was traumatic leaving them but I had no choice. I’m so happy I get to see yours!
Sorry for the rambling. Your decision about how you want to deal with your cancer is such a personal choice. I’m a retired, disabled nurse so I do understand. I’m also trying to support my best friend who is dealing with her 4th round of cancer. I just offer prayers and a shoulder to cry on. So that is what I am here to do..offer support and prayers. Francine I 💯 agree with you on your choice..I have watched 3 people I love go through treatments for cancer and that in itself was so horrible and devastating to watch only to lose them anyway!…it’s your body your choice ❤️🙏🏻🌸🦋…your cats make me laugh 😂 I have 2 as well!

I am a new subscriber from Paul in Perth. I understand completely what you are saying. My niece had diabetes really bad ,she lost her leg knee down. She went into kidney failure and suffered like no one should. She passed away at age 38. It has been tremendously hard and sad without her. My sister is not the same and will never be. God bless you Francine. I believe in Jesus and you will be with him if you do pass?? As you said if God has a miracle for you ,absolutely,you will gladly receive it!! Amen💝🙏

I am stage four rcc mets to lungs, and I tried treatment which was killing me, I decided I'm not doing anything about it. I'm not afraid. I'm so happy to have found you, you are such a free spirit and I agree with you, the side effects are what almost did me in. Yes quality over quantity 👌 just don't waste time I agree, I'm also diabetic. BTW my oncologist is awful and it's on her MD ratings. Bless you sweetheart 💗

Francine, it’s your body and your choice! You shouldn’t have to explain yourself just to appease others❤ No one knows what it feels like to be in your skin except you. I don’t know if I believe in god, I don’t attend church or pray but I try to send positive thoughts when I can.
Just be kind to others. If you do that and later find out there is a God, then He'll be happy about the person you are. Hedge your bets. :)
