When this song came out in Australia, Curt was 21, now he is now 58 (same as me) and his beautiful daughter is now 21. Nice synergy. Haunting rendition. Well done. This one is a keeper.😊
so what your really trying to say is his daughter is a loser whos done nothing at 21 when the old man came out with an all time classic? lol
@@albertkelly7129 basically, you claiming that a 21 year old woman you don't even know to be a loser who has done nothing, just by watching a home made video of her playing and singing nicely... but even so, you are talking about her... you are the one to laugh about.
@Beumadine Sweevy you call a 58 year old man millenial. genius
@@albertkelly7129 Ignorant comment. That's not what he is saying at all. His was a kind, thoughtful observation. Why make such a stupid, juvenile comment about someone you don't even know? It reflects badly on you.
Glad I'm not the only one to realize the age correlation.. Such a talented family.
Can we say Goosebumps. Everytime she joined in. Totally great
Its so amazing to see Curt singing a song with his daughter..... I really loved back in 85....and its still a mad world....
It's even more madder than it was in the 80s!
That girl when she blends in in close harmony. She got a golden voice with an ability to play guitar. vary rare! Both did an excellent job!!!
There is something special about families signing together and the way they can harmonise
Daughter has a beautiful voice and taught well by her father. Love the connection between the two👩❤️👨
Fathers and daughters. This mad world needs more of this positivity! Thank you, Curt Smith! :-)
Amazing....love it....music from my teens time...
She has her dad's energy! Beautiful young lady she is clearly is a shining star!
P h
of course, the song is great, but the fact it's father and daughter is just awesome !
This is gorgeous sounding. Warms the heart to see father and daughter moments like this...
just beautiful....wonderful harmonics
All the great comments I just read through forgot to mention Diva's guitar playing and singing combination. She's very talented at both, the apple didn't fall far from the tree for sure!
I love the song. But the best thing i love here is to see the father and the daughter smile at each other, in deep profound understanding. That connection is worth a lot!
Yep. As a huge Tears for Fears fan and the father of a girl, this is one of my favorite all time videos. Love that father-daughter bond between them.
Boy im 60 the relevance of this song in this mad word. I wish we could go back and see truth and change this mad world❤💐🥰😭😭😭😭
That is just the coolest thing ever. Dad and daughter doing a chill combo.
Beautiful
This is so appropriate for the times. His daughter has a beautiful singing voice. She surely inherited is musical gens Just wonderful

Gears of War
It is impossible to overlook how alike they look: the cheekbones, the eyes. Such a beautiful duet. Curt is one of the music greats and seems to be a wonderful person as well.
You know when people say "I don't know who needed to hear this but"..
Me. I needed to hear this. One of my favorite songs of all time done beautifully. Made my week.
Really nice harmony. The resemblance is very close and they both give out vibes of calm.
Who in their right mind would give this a thumbs down? This is fantastic!
It's a very very mad world
Mad people
It´s call envy
Great song , performed by dad and daughter.
It is phony
moments a father and daughter will cherish a lifetime
The daughter must be so proud to have a father who actually WROTE such a profound song
I think Roland Orzabal wrote the song
Who Knows what Dramas are running through her little female head?
Going to take the risk, Spike?
I actually didn't realise he wrote it :-)
Pwa pwa
i got one on the way
I always come back to this video. I have three daughters and two granddaughters. I am a very lucky person like Curt.
Makes me think about how much I love my daughter.
I would love moments like this with my daughter 💕
Awww... that's sweet!
When she started singing
I started to cry.
I literally got chills when her harmony vocal came in. Gorgeous.

Same here!
Yep. Me too.
People, go VEGAN!!! :) It's a mad mad world, let's make it a better place!
eating sugar no papa I love vegan meals. But I always feel one thing’s missing: a HUGE steak. Lol
Such a beautiful rendition!
Such a great song, but a greater moment to cherish between father and daughter during this time of madness.
And that is forever. I play music with my kids (when they tolerate it :), and its awesome, I’ve even composed a couple of songs with my daughter.
padywac1970 these special times your kids will remember forever.
feel the love. so happy I saw this
Wow....how cool is this?? Such a confident young lady and Curt's cool as ever and obviously a proud pop! Made my day with this one!
Don McCollough Nicely done, but not church music.
People, go VEGAN!!! :) It's a mad mad world, let's make it a better place!
Kurt's daughter could melt hearts with that smile. And she can sing and play. They tap into the depression of this song too. Really enjoyed this.
@Michael D H Oh dear, good thing you're here. Give yourself a gold star.
Hermosa señorita preciosa voz..gran cantante curt...exitos family❤
Simply fantastic! I found plaing with his own doughter Is the best thing that can happen to a father.

Beautiful! Every dad needs to play music with his daughter.

Deaf dad? Deaf daughter? Juggle pass! ASL stories!
Well said sir
When my daughter was younger she would insist that her dad sit directly infront of her so she could focus better when she played bass. lol
It's such a privilege. I just finished accompanying my 8yo daughter's daily singing practice. My little girl's voice danced its gentle way through her pieces while I played the piano, her little hand on my shoulder and my trying to see the music (someone was cutting onions nearby...). These times will stay with me for all time. Yes - I agree with you! Cheers from Sydney, Dave
Wow very cool! Loved this ❤.
When she added her voice, it was SO much richer and sweeter.
Harmonizing with your daughter on a beautiful song that is beloved by millions must be a great feeling.
Gorgeous!!!!
So beautiful..... song... father... daughter....
Tears for fears …one of my favorite bands from the 80’s … beautiful father / daughter collaboration 🙏
