I race my car and the engine bay can be very hot, ad the turbo and downpipe is just 2 feet away in the engine bay. Is it safe to put this lithium battery in??
@upbeatmantis86 it has a temperature limit. They have all that information on their website. Id try work out roughly how hot your current battery gets and work around that temperature.
@@MCFRYMotorsport yeah, it says maximum 85c.. im gonna check my temps in wngine bay before committing to this. But 10-15kg savings is a lot on the front end, compared to going carbon etc
@enricodigenova8112 when the engine is running, generally the alternator takes the load, but this battery actually holds more voltage under load than a lead acid battery. That's why these will actually crank an engine over much faster than a standard car battery.
10kgs+ is a big saving in motorsport, they are lithium which costs alot more to make compared to a lead acid battery. They are cheap compared to other lithium batteries in the same market.

What are they worth to buy
Currently they are $800 but $736 with the discount.
@@MCFRYMotorsport ok thanks mate it will work out well for me with a tight engine bay and to save weight 👍👍👍
@@MCFRYMotorsport how are they under load if you have a sound system plus a performance engine
