If I may ask, how do these types of battery handle the charging rate of the alternator? I'm thinking of running a similar battery but my concern is that the stock alternator will overcharge the battery. Is there such a thing? I believe my stock alternator is 90amp. (300zx twin turbo). The battery itself, a NOCO npl9 400amp battery says it's 9amp max charging rate.
I'm in NC, keep the car in the garage. The battery is not supposed to be charged when it's freezing, but since I keep the car in the garage it never gets freezing. The engine will keep the battery warm. If you park it outside and live in a freezing climate the battery probably won't live long
What's the compression of your engine? I just found you video....thank you for sharing! I have a 335ci 10:1 compression engine. Will it work in that scenario?
It finally died, I wasnt driving the car often so the battery kept draining really low, and then I would need to charge it. So a bit over 3 years with it being abused.

DAYUM, that small!!!!!
So how is it holding up?
Still working well
Interesting. I’m curious how well it performs in the cold. What is the climate like where you live?

9.6:1 but it was not struggling. I would not worry at all. Maybe if you have an old school non gear reduction starter it will have an impact.
How is it holding up so far?

Im looking to buy the LFX36L3-BS12 version.
4 minutes, and you don't even crank it up??
Jeez, that thing would be dead if I left my fan and water pump on in the pits for 10 minutes... 🤨
