    Hello!
    Thanks for the great video.
How much malt extract do we need for 14 liters of water?

Hi, you would use 4lb of dry malt extract (or 5lb of liquid malt extract) to make a 14 liter batch that's %5 abv.

Assuming you had to sanitize the chiller coil before you put in?

Hi, adding the chiller into the brew pot for the last 10 minutes will sanitize it since the wort is boiling. That being said my chiller is always cleaned before I put it away for the next brew day.

Sure but it would be very sweet. Any reason why you want to?

    That wort looks really dark
I really like the idea of not having to do the full grain extraction though. Done it many times now and it’s such a big tiring mess each time 🤪

That's just because all the trub was in suspension and the lighting. Once it was fermented and poured into a glass it was a light copper color. I recommend using pilsen light or super light dme as opposed to lme. You could also add some of the dme at the beginning and then add the rest at the end of the boil which helps keep the color a bit lighter. Cheers
