Deleting a contact by a long press is really a ground breaking thing in ios 16 as we tend to save in a lot of contacts which tend to be useless later on

This has been one of the useful hidden feature videos ever. Everyone usually just tell you the same things. I really appreciated the lock note feature. I never knew that even exist and I’ve been a iPhone user since iPhone 1
Lock screen, and copy edits are my favorites. Also one that you didn't mention was to copy images and paste them into Notes. I really love this! I wish we could paste them into other images too.

If you hold a finger on a photo- it will cut out the item and make it a sticker. By moving a lower bar to the left holding the sticker- you can send it in a messages if message app is opened.

My favorite has to be the lock screen, and how you can now have a few of them and switch between them like we could with our watch faces.
One he didn't go over was the fact that now we can finally delete or edit text messages after sending them. Which is my second favorite! 😊
Copy Edits for the photo app was interesting, it could save some time specially if the photos have similar exposure values, paste the edits and just do some minor adjustments if needed. Thanks for dropping this.

⚠ WARNING! Do Not use the new Note locking options if you want to access those notes on other devices that are not running iOS 16 / iPadOS 16, or macOS Ventura! All devices must be running iOS 16 / iPadOS 16 / macOS Ventura in order to access notes locked using a device passcode. Devices not running those version will lose access to the locked notes.

That contact delating is the best one ☝🏻
A small but nice change also is if you go into your battery settings you can have a digital number tell you your battery percentage like on the old iOS’s.

it doesn’t work on iphones older than the 12 I think. I have an 11 and don’t have that feature

I need help! So I did the snap widget on my Lock Screen of my wife’s and my messages, when I get a notification I get the standard banner style but not the (1) symbol next to the widget itself on the lock screen. So can I change the settings and make it that way?

For the side ways unlock feature dont forget to mention that it only work on the iphone 12 to 14. And also in music why cant apple fix the issue whereby int he apple watch music library you have to scroll all the way to the to reach your downloaded music when that can be the 1st option you see when opening the apple music on the watch. That’s frustrating

face id unlock in landscape mode doesnt work in iphones less than 13... also duplicate contacts can be found in the extreme bottom of contacts if you closed the notification earlier.You can merge or delete from there..

When you've been an android user for long, apple doesn't seem to impress me , these features seem like common sense to have but it too apple this long. Using the iPhone gives me headache sometimes as some functions just seem backwards. They only thing I like is facetime and iMessage.
I love this update but I really wish they would have made it an option to have a shared playlist with someone else like on Spotify.
you can add ppl on Spotify playlists as collaborators and it’s pretty much like a shared playlist :))

Maybe this has been covered? Aliases: In operating systems (including MacOS) one can create a link (alias) and store it anywhere. This allows you to access an application or program from multiple locations. In IOS, every time you drag an app out of the App Library it creates an alias which can be stored in a different folder. For instance, SiriusXM has music channels and news channels. I can store an alias in a Music folder and another in a News folder.
Michael you did not show unlocking iPhone …will it remain the same (with my code)and will face recognition still remain as it was before upgrade
Not exactly iOS 16 related but, I like the fact the comment box is always at the bottom of the comment section. Before, we had to scroll up to the top of the comment section in order to leave a comment on great videos like this one.
Converting Apple Notes to text. I was new to iPhone, and have been creating many notes entries that I wanted to use for a book I want to write. I went to export or copy a group of notes to paste into pages only to find out that notes are an image file type and the only way to move the text is to do them one at a time. Got any cool tricks to make this easier? Thank you How not to hang up phone

I wish they bring the go back to previous screen feature by swiping from left or right of the screen like it's on Android. It's tiring to reach the far left top corner of the screen to do that on the iPhone.

Where u get that wallpaper for the last part??
take a pic of someone, touch and hold your finger on the person and then a graphic goes over the person then you can slide your finger and it cuts the person out of the picture and you can drag it around. It will stay highlighted and you can copy it and past it somewhere
