      The juxtaposition of the erratic radio interference and the string instruments at Atomos X is pure genius. The interplay of chaos and the sublime is as real a representation of our modern world as I've ever heard played in music. I'm in awe at this piece, one of the best ever.

    Just watched a superb British film entitled GOD'S OWN COUNTRY and noticed that the music was courtesy of these lads... I know so little about them but I do know that they make excellent music... Thankyou for providing this treat.

      I was lucky enough to see them in a really close intimate gig in an old church just before lockdown. One of the best gigs I've been to, the way they filled the whole space with sound was perfection.

    Saw them at the Round Chapel in Clapton last Friday, just an utterly beautiful evening in a gorgeous venue (definite gem in the rough!) and fair brought a lump to the throat on many occasions. Stunning! Front row too, which was nice. :)

    Truly outstanding...classical / chamber is great but so is pushing the limits and not just using classical instruments in the standard 'backdrop' way with modern sounds. This is a million-times listen.

    Love the slow and gradually amplified drone soundscape shrouded in in dark mysterious ambient ..a bit too long but certainly a revelation for the Bbc proms 2015 also i could not help notice the violon minimalism and lone piano ..it forces you to reflect

      I think... a lot of delays and reverbs with a volume pedal, in parts i think he may have a Harmonist or POG pedal as well. The other thing is with the sound you don't hear any attack, it is simply the tail end of the sound which I believe is giving that iconic sound and presents.

    It's far too etherieal and lacking in rhythm for my taste.
    It's just background "new age" sounds - Ideal for putting one to sleep.
    I kept waiting for the music to begin ....
    and they just keep warming up (like an orchestra before a concert).
