Thank you for watching and for your comment! Adhesive replacement can indeed be a crucial step in some repair processes, especially for ensuring a secure reassembly. In this particular case, the adhesive around the border may not require replacement if it's still intact and provides sufficient adhesion. However, it's always a good practice to inspect the adhesive carefully and replace it if necessary to maintain the device's integrity. Your attention to detail is appreciated!
it will need replaced. only watch these videos for the tare down to make your process of elimination smoother. after that you will need hours of free time and the perfect equipment to do this right without breaking anything. this video is only to make mental notes.. what he did is just editing and pre prep.
first of all for anyone reading this these videos are for OP's benefit only for views and attention nothing of what he shows is as simple as it looks. the double sided tape i guarentee has to be chronically specific thickness or your door wont shut.. and secondly you arent just gunna beable to put your batt door back on after taking it off.. the seal will be ripped and ruined.. youll need to spend hours cleaning it off and hours putting a perfect bead of glue or silicone back on perfectly. ive taken apart 2 of these newer phones over the years and it aint even simple or easy at all unless you have all the right equipment and adhesives and research of what the right stuff is and hours of time to do it after you got everything.
Everything you said is false. Its easy if you know what youre doing. If you have no experience working on electronics and you think you can just fix your own stuff then youre going to break things. Otherwise its easy.
Here I am again.... looking for how to replace battery in Samsung. I've owned several and EVERY ONE of them I had to replace multiple times xs 2, daughters also. It is so sad to pay over 1000 dollars for a phone that isn't 2 yrs old yet and have to replace the battery. Mine is so swelled most of the back is popped open. Thank you so much for the tutorial.
Same thing is happening with me. I noticed my S23 Ultra's back has started to pop off a month ago and I thought it was just the glue wearing off, but it wasn't popping back no matter how much I pressed it in, and that's when I realized it was the battery starting to swell up. I have no idea how this happened, as I bought the phone new just 1 and a half years ago. It is indeed sad for a flagship of this price to experience this in less than 2 years.
Sorry this happened to you. I got mine changed. Cheap screws inside. One was so tight it stripped completely out. I had to take a small drill bit and drill it out. I was sweating worried about drilling through my phone h a ving to use a cordless drill. I measured a screw and placed tape on bit so I wouldn't drill to deep going very slow worried it may go through my glass. It worked well and all is good for the moment. I must say I love samung but their batteries are pure crap. Hope your battery replacement goes well. Also, battery was glued in very well. I used fishing line to saw through it.
Hello, after battery replacement does the phone loose its ip rating? Uk since the paste and stuff it original had wud is removed, im curious to know since im planning to replace mine. Thanks
Hello, thank you so much for your eternal support, Yes, currently we are experimenting which adhesive works best to restore the Parameters of IP^*. Right now I highly recommend 3M double sided tape or Tesa Tape. A Repair Press Fixture can also help seal the back cover, stay tuned for future content and thank you for watching!
Great video. Thx for that tutor. I think you missed the blue sticker on the battery. It's enough to pull it to remove the battery. You don't need to apply alcohol and warm the edges of the battery.

How do we seal the back glass panel ? Will the exisitng glue be ebough
Yeah I'm also curious about this
@@quincejingly8821 that's the part he didn't show
B-7000 glue on Amazon. It is flexible and creates a waterproof seal when applied evenly and properly. I never reuse the old glue
It will definitely not, had a phone nearly destroyed over a shop being lazy
Hi. Is there any way to get all information from s23 ultra if the phone is not terming on and not fixable and even not synced? Thank you
how to fix the backcover ? It was glued before and perhaps clipped.

How did you restore waterproofing after putting back the back panel?
it is recommended to use the official adhesive Assembly Kit along with a repair iFixture pressure.
Is this similar to replacing the S23 plus battery? I realize they may be slightly different but same concept?
I am surprised how fast the back panel came off
Looks easy when you do it.😂😂😂. I know there will be 0 success when I try to disassemble it😂
