have gone thru at least 3 logitech mouse and all eventually had the "click not holding issue" within a year. even their bluetooth keyboards also have connectivity issues. had the rapoo mt750 for 3 years... no issues!
I recently got this mouse and haven't experienced connection drops with the receiver, but the travel distance in the clicks is something I have to get used to. Especially when it comes to double clicks. As someone that never had a high-end or even a mid-range mouse, this mouse seems solid and well worth it's price. Don't take it from me though, I've put up with some terrible mice in the past.
True! For most. This might work just well, but yeah the key travel was something I could never really get used to. Also, I’ve used Rapoo mice before, and it broke in about 3 months and I was extremely careful. I’ve had the mx2s for at least 3 years now and not a single hitch. But again, this rapoo is the closet you get to that level of functionality at that price point. Maybe Jlabs productivity mouse could be better in terms of build quality.
@@seriultgmx it was only with the dongle. I wanted to customize the side scroll, luckily it was possible with x mouse controller without interferring with other logitech master 3s mouse. that side scroll reports as different on the rapoo
Yeah i agree, but I think for the same price as the Rapoo, you could get either the Mx master 2s or Jlabs epic mouse (depending on if it’s on sale) which I think are of overall better quality. However, Rapoo has done a really good job here, a few improvements here and there and they’d be golden. 🙏
Does the side scroll work with macbook, since I bought this mouse today I am not able to find any app for mac from Rapoo that can be used to configure anything. also for me the side scroll does nothing on the Macbook. Can someone help me with this issue?
This may like be a compatibility issue. The software seems to be mostly for windows too. Probably a third party app could but if you’re having to do that, I’d just recommend you return it if you can and just get maybe the Jlab mouse equivalent or Logitech Mx master 2s. I’ve used the Mx master 2s on windows and Mac OS for years and no issues. I still the 2s till this day.
i just got this mouse after my 15€ mouse broke, decided to spend some more money and i think it was worth it. i use it via 2.4 connection, and my connection has not dropped once (been using it since a few hours only) ill watch out for that
@@AliasWasTaken I’m happy you’re not having dropped connections. If I didn’t have that issue, I’d have definitely kept mine. It’s really good mouse to be fair and at that price point, you can’t knock on what it offers.
@@seriultgmx absolutely agree, maybe yours was faulty because it works great so far. The only problem I have is that when I try to scroll up, it middle clicks a lot... But that should just be a matter of getting used to it. I bought this mouse after trying it out in a shop, just liked the feel of it. Thanks for your video tho, helped me have a better opinion on the mouse. Oh, and the software/driver was really hard to find a download for! But once I found it, definitely a nice to have app.
My experience has been great using this mouse. I used to have the MX Master 3 but it broke due to water damage. The feel of the mouse feels cheaper than the MX Master 3s but works fine with me. The battery lasted me for a year before I charged it. The mouse is great for the price, just don't compare it to the MX Master because it's the goat of office mouses 😂
Logitech make the best mice, and the absolute worst software. I have been a lifelong fan of Logitech - BUT NO MORE! You're dead to me, axeholes! The MT760 is a brilliant mouse.
Haha Logitech is def an OP in this one lol! I agree with you on the fact that the MT760 is a good mouse overall, the connection drops were the deal breaker for me. If you get one that doesn’t have connection issues, then it’s a 100% contender to Logitech.
The scroll wheel part I’ve experienced before on another silent click Rapoo mouse so I can confirm this to be true on some level. As good as an attempt this is, that’s why I still recommend the MX master 2s. Even though it’s an older version, it’s still leaps and bounds over the MT760 in quality and durability for about the same price.
hmm Interesting I have a wireless keyboard (the very one I'm typing with) and wireless mouse for 3+ years and still going strong, funnily enough the wireless Razer mouse I had broke after 1 year use
Absolutely wrong...I've had 3 different Rapoo mouses in 10 years...they never got broken until I got tired of them and replaced them with more modern models...
I am using a Rapoo keyboard for more than a year and I have razer death adder v2 pro which doesn’t work wireless anymore. Rapoo offers decent quality at lower prices.

Does the custom software mapping only work with the usb dongle?
Hello, unfortunately I didn’t specifically test this feature. I should have in hindsight sight. I’d bet that it would have to be with the dongle.

Oh thanks for this insight.
I will say that it is kind of low budget mouse if you want to try a similar design as logitech Mx

the background music is distracting. good video though.

MX Master 3s would be the goat, but it has horrible polling rate :( I struggle to understand why they don't use a better sensor...
does it have infinite scroll
@@pejneil6277 lol! Not a chance!

Yeah I used to have one and face the same issue and eventually trashed it
Sorry to hear that. Yeah as promising as this seems, I still recommend the MX master 2s for those reasons.
Wait for 3months. The scroll wheel will start wacking out. And the clicks double clicking. The software is also baaaad.

how can I customize the buttons
I believe you’d have to download the rapoo software from their website to be able to customize the buttons.
Stay away from rappo, brokes very fastly, total.waist of money
Same here. I have tried 3 products. A keyboard and two mice. Never lasted more than 3 to 4 months.
