You talked about werefoxes as they fit into other squads, but it's worth noting that they synergize extremely well with themselves. Whether or not venom lance manages to hit with the debuff, it triggers weakness hunter (unguardable, 50% defense ignored) from that fox, weakness hunter from every other fox, shadow pursuit from every other fox, etc. If they can reach the person in the back column, say by all those weakness hunters and shadow pursuits killing the person in front of them, they'll also kill the person behind, too. They're pretty much guaranteed to kill something on turn one since they have 5 weakness hunters and 4 shadow pursuits triggering off the first attack. And they're fast, so they'll all probably go first. In terms of units that're ridiculously easy to make, super powerful, super fast, and can jump over walls to reach towers or bosses and bypass mountains/water/terrain... five werefoxes with the wolfpack gauntlets (+20% attack, +50% crit chance to bestrals, activates at the start of battle) is basically handed to you halfway through Bastorias. They're an okay addition to any squad, but extremely good with other foxes.
In my True Zenoiran run, I went quickly to Albion from the Elheim port, and Trinity Rain Cheesed the fort to the far left to quickly pick up a Featherstaff for my all Healing group. It still took a while to set them up properly, but when Scarlett and Eltolinde came online and could start dealing some good damage, Mr. Featherstaff was a great dodge tank with his overheal and with other characters using their Passive Points to deflect some of the damage. Having Scarlett reduce his incoming damage by 50% makes it so if they *did* hit, it'd be enough for him to survive through his Overheal. Then Tatiana just Quick Heals it back to full again. His own Passive Points go towards Familiar's Choker to buff the power house healing girls' magic. It's been an absolute blast using him. Absolutely do recommend using a Featherstaff as a dodgetank in a designated "healer only" Unit.
Feels like some of the stuff they gave to Yunifi they could have given to Werelions in some way. Almost like the extra time they took making Yunifi made them ran out of time to make Werelions, so they just slap on the Berserker kit onto them and called it a day.
I mean, the in-story justification really vibes for me; Morard *was* just a Berserker whose species change gave him a slight edge. And Yunifi kept a lot of her natural gifts albeit her original lioness senses aren’t as absurd anymore… Imagine if we got her in her original form, she’d be SSSS tier!
Def feel like the Angel class got the raw deal due to very few of those characters being available until so late in the game. Would love to see in a future game an option to explore areas in any order that you want with appropriate scaling for enemy levels depending on the path you choose.
PLEASE do an individual class deep dive! There's really nowhere on the internet that has it. Something that shows some good or fun Tactics setups, best item combinations, and possible Unit formations they would be best with would be amazing!
What I think deserves extra emphasis is the Wereowl's two gamechangers: Quick Dispel and Restore PP. Quick Dispel is pretty much PvP meta for nuke prevention. Not as impactful in PvE but there are a number of scenarios where that one dispel has sizable impact. Restore PP, when used right, is an invaluable team resource. This affords a comp so many possibilities, like Gilbert being able to use Rapid Order and two True Strike buffs; or serving as a battery for Berengaria, Nigel, Virginia, or the Doom Knights.
A front line of swordmasters with 70% crit rate, backed by a sainted knight/Josef equiped with dirty gambler coin, then a wereowl is beyond disgusting. Your swordmasters will ahred everything with 100% crit truestrikes
Someone was snorting cocaine when they made Yunifi because it fits the snow theme

I was surprised to discover a team of 5 werefoxes is not a meme.
It's definitely a meme among me 'n my friends =]

AWESOME project, sad to see it end, glad to see it made. Learned some new stuff for sure to incorporate

Man I would have loved to see triple counter become like, wide sweep counter at range or smth.

I hope he see this. They would be truly unique content. People will always go back to this channel to learn.
Thank you Tom for all your Unicorn Overlord content and your hard work !
It's a great game. Love to hear about it whenever you have the time. Thank you
always nice to wrap up a project; :3
YOU ARE AWESOME! ❤❤❤
I would love a deep dive of every class. It will probably help me build better squads.

I wish I knew this game would exist in the future when I decided to have kids. They miss me
Amalia is one of the best wide pursuit users with the highest strength stat in the game, otherwise her focus on single targetting is just kind of eh
Individual class deep dive when?
Multiple builds for that class?
Multiple combos for that class with other units?

BRUNOOOOOOOO!!!!
Ill be honest werewolf are just worse than swordmaster in every way. They do literally no damage
Is this the last. Lex is useless video ?
