Don't sweat potentially misplaying/out of sequencing stuff in that Slimefoot and Squee game. You did just fine. Slimefoot and Squee is a really frustrating commander to play against, even with graveyard hate.
I really do enjoy all these unique decks and uncommon commanders that you build for Brawl. I feel, however, that the current state of Brawl in Arena really discourages fun, casual deck builds because the meta is very sweaty with removal, counterspells and fast ramp / fast board states. Slower, enjoyable games are very rare unless you play with a friend. It's a real shame that the meta just makes it really hard to enjoy the game more casually and to experiment.
@@COMPNOR yep it's something I've had to come to terms with over the years. My earlier videos were more experimental and fun but because no one gives a shit I've had to adopt more cutthroat strategies to garner attention or remain obsolete. Paper is king
@@MTGJoshagreed! I've played Arena for years but I've finally reached the acceptance stage of grief and realized that Brawl =\= Commander. I can be goofy and have fun with my friends with weird deck designs, but in Brawl you really have to invest time and money just to have competent decks to rage against the meta.
@@COMPNOR it is on the maybeboard for now, multiple people have expressed interest but we shall see! I just need the time because it is very time consuming also that kind of content is so rife on TH-cam
That first game is the reason I run one or two graveyard hate in my decks.
Bojuka me bog
"I wanna have a game of chess"
And that's why I enjoy your channel so much Josh! You put actual thought into your builds!
@@MEGAMIGA appreciate it dude
Love all the different decks. So tired of the same old stuff. Keep it up
I really appreciate that!

There are 3 counter spells in this deck list

I knew it was gonna be a great video when I saw the metal gear intro, still my favorite!
@@Aura_Games haha thanks! It's part of an old wave of videos still ap they will phase out but I will bring in something new one day

Thanks dude 😎
Recently built this guy, I loved him, it was probably underpowered compared to this, but it still killed it
Your commander was just the side-chick, ey? 😂

@@MTGJoshas an aside - have you considered doing a playlist where you do deck techs of your paper decks? I would be interested in that.
