Balance is such an important philosophy and core value. Not too much, but not too little. It’s a powerful tool in both life and even film. That’s all contrast is. Love that you made a quick getaway out of a under budget project. Quality content!

There’s gotta be balance in everything. Can’t always chase the money and the next project. I’m all about keeping my priorities out front. Not perfect but I try.

I can relate with almost every single aspect you've touched in this video. My wife and I don't have kids yet so I can't say that I know how it is in regards to also running my company. But I also try to stay "on the wave" and realize that we live in phases/waves and periods of our life (some that keep on and off and some that only come once). You are absolutely right "Life happens to you or you happen to life!" - No better way to say it!

It’s all a choice! The first year or so I said yes to everything. I kinda had to to build relationships and develop my portfolio more. But it’s hard to balance when you say yes all the time. So I increased my prices several times and started to say no to things.

Your doing brilliant mate and making sure to have family time with your wife and kids instead of just work work work is not only good for you, but good for them too. In the future they will always remember that their dad spent so much time with them and will pass it on to their kids. Instead of just being a dad that was always working.
You got a great family there man
    Awesome video

I appreciate that! My purpose is not just creating nice art or nice work for clients. My purpose is to care for my family. It's important for all of us to know WHY we work. The WHY is the most important part.
