AND THATS WHY I LOVE MY TYPE R BECAUSE OF ITS ADVANCED FWD, IT FEELS MORE FUN WITH ITS DRIVING DYNAMICS THAN MY EVO X BECAUSE ITS LIGHTER AND CAN TURN AS CRAZY GOOD IF NOT BETTER THAN MY EVO.

Thank you so much for this information. How do you do to import the results in i2Pro?

Danny- When you say super diff, what type of diff are you speaking of specifically? Clutch type? Also is the spread sheet available in excel format?

I think the Super Diff is a ChassisSim Special, equivalent to an electrically-actuated Torsen programmed to maximize the slipratios of each tire without waste.

When he says “super diff” I believe he is talking about torque vectoring

Is it possible using only weight and weight distribution to get spring and rebount dampning calculation?

It gets you into the ball park but it is not he complete story. However it get's you started thinking about the car numerically and that is a good thing.

Danny!! .. Mate!.. Is there any book, thesis, paper about front wheel car/ race car dynamics? That you could recommend? Thanks. Best regards..

Carlos - the closest thing I've seen is the companion article I wrote to this in Racecar Engineering. Sorry mate informative articles on this a few and far between.

Danny, I'll get you crazy mate!!. I remember I had read it, I think, but I'll re-read it. But what I don't remember is the issue date. Do you have it in mind? I think it was not too long ago.. thanks!!

Looking for fwd oval car set up information.

Your times show that the car slowed down after the rear bar and roll center adjustments? Was that a typo on your screen?

Typo on my part - brain fade!

ChassisSim Curiois your thoughts and strict ruleset fwd idea. With no other changes, would running lower profile tires in front on a torquey fwd car (assuming you keep the same width and compound etc) to shift even more weight to the nose aid in corner exit traction, even if at the expense of braking distances?
