I would recommend riding with Lycra cycling shorts (padded or unpadded). Wear these instead of briefs and wash daily…..they dry very fast so should be fine, but on a tour I take three pairs. Powder is essential kit too…….great video👍

Baby Diaper rash cream for after the ride if the rash occurs. Not the way to stop it from happening, but to heal quicker.

Pretty sure wearing cotton underwear is what bit me on my last 1800-pluis-mile rode trip. I know better than to wear them on extended trips, but thought I could get away with it because I planned on making lots of stops. Bad decision on my part. Good information. Thanks for sharing.

I did exactly same thing last time - bad decision for sure.

Can you talk about sun protection and hydration? I recently started using electrolyte powder that I can add to bottled water. My Wife wears sun blocking shirts and face cover. Thanks 👍

Thank you for suggesting this I will try to do episode on this in next 2-3 weeks as I have some things lines up for next 2 episodes. Just FYI I use Neutrogena stick or cream SPF 70 or 100 works like a dream. P.S. I will do review of your pump in the winter as initially I got spooked about receiving item I didn’t know it is coming . I am sure you understand.

If that’s any help - I personally use only SPF 30 on my face but wearing 3/4 helmet with spf protection face shield, it works great, I’am sure full face would be even better. Then regular clothing including mesh jacket! Tank top underneath in really hot days that’s about it. Never got burned and feeling very comfortable. I love my helmet, really don’t feel that I am wearing one.
