Hi Phil, thanks for another awesome video. Great to see how they have retained the original train station building. It reminds me a bit of some of the old train stations retained on the St Killda light rail line down here. Anyway, take care. rob in Melbourne Australia.
I live a minute's walk from the Dundas station. I saw a dropped overhead wire a few weeks back right at 5:07 . Must have been the catalyst for the latest delay. That tram sped off pretty quickly compared to what I've seen thus far. Maybe he was showing off for the camera 😅
Nice looking station. They did a good job of landscaping and hardscaping. I agree Phil. Glad they restored the old station building - although they did a bad job with the electrical on the back of the building. Must have been an oversight and couldn’t find the money for a proper job. In Japan the old station building would be a tiny store with a couple of tables and chairs for homemade food run by an elderly couple who live in the back room. And they’d tend a small garden. Same in Taiwan. Thanks for the video.
line has been accredited so not long now. hopefully phil if not there on opening day first service from either end you can perhaps do videos of it passing by.

2:27 That got up and out of its own way at quite a clip. Also looking forward to seeing how they successfully double tracked the Carlingford corridor.

you said they’d announce the opening of the light rail after you post this video and they did exactly that 😂
Amazing Vid!

Can’t wait for this Light Rail to Open. We all hoped it would open this year. But…
Looks like it's finally approved to start passenger services soon. Unclear on the date as yet.
CPH Railmotors would run some late night services at least until after 1975. I've forgotten the details.
Same thing with the normal Sydney Light Rail testing back in 2019
Carlingford is where I live
U sets were there in the past too
The tram accelerates pretty decently away from the stop
as an intermediate step they should run a bus until the light rail opens. maybe a busway would have been better there.
Route 535 has been running for years
First
@ maybe maybe not
CAF should be black listed by now. Never sign up with them for any new project!
they have been ok for canberra?
